Well. My cat is alive so two stars. I hate this place and understand all the bad reviews now. I thought people were just being stupid/not understanding that yeah, emergency care is expensive. I'd gladly pay even more for better service. I just don't need the crappy attitudes on top of the emotional distress of my pet The ONLY nice person there was the tech who explained my cats discharge instructions. For her, I am thankful. The rest of the staff needs to go work in the department of motor vehicles where their customer serv... read more

Are you kidding me? We were on your timeline, you insisted on and we were doing what YOUR VETERINARIAN instructed us to do! As a matter of fact, when I spoke to him on the phone he was extremely forceful and insistent on this taking place on the timeline HE gave us!!! Covid isn't making pets sick, so that excuse doesn't hold water.

Business response:

Ms. B. At this time, there is nothing fast about coming to an ER. The pandemic has caused all Veterinary hospitals to be very busy and what can't go to the family Veterinarian is now funneled to an ER. On Christmas eve we could not just bring your cat in for a blood test. Yes normally, a very quick in and out, but with the patient load over the holiday it was not possible - and yes you were asked you to wait. See in an ER, we have to Triage. Which means that the sickest go first. Not first come first serve, not its a q... read more

Whoever worked the night shift on 12/23/20 at 10:00 pm answering the phones should get more training!! Totally unacceptable...We Care my a$#!!! When I called to let them know my cat was ill and throwing up, I didnt get any sense that they care! The lady fast talked me and basically dismissed what i was talking about even though I called because I was concerned about my cat and that is what they are supposed to be here for! Total turn off for me and got me wandering if I even want to bring my pet there in the first place. I... read more

Business response:

Yaz K. I am sorry that we did not give you the time you needed. Unfortunately, the call volume our ER is receiving on a daily basis has greatly increased during this Pandemic. Our receptionists however can not give medical advise over the phone. We always tell you that if you are concerned about your pet and feel they need to see a Veterinarian that we are open 24/7/365. We can not diagnose, advise treatment options, or prescribe medications without examining your pet. Once we advise you that your pet should be seen b... read more

By far the most insensitive clinic my family and I have ever had to deal with. We had to put our family dog down of 12 years today, and the individual we had to speak with in the clinic was ABSOLUTLEY the most INSENSITIVE individual we've ever had to deal with. Our vet is mobile and came to our home to put our dog down. When our vet got to this specific clinic, she called us and quoted us on the cremation. We then called the clinic and spoke to a very insensitive employee to make the payment. She continued to ask questions (... read more

If I could give negative stars, it would be -10!!! This place is the worst experience I have EVER experienced!! I had to tell my cat's story five times, to five different people, they held us hostage in the parking lot for over an hour waiting for them to come and get my cat who has a blocked urinary track! Once the finally came to get my cat, they refused to let me use their restroom (even after I told them that I myself have a UTI). I had to drive to find a restroom, and as I was returning, they called me to say that the v... read more

Don't take your pet here the absolute worse. The first time I took my puppy there the doctor couldn't even diagnose him with pneumonia after taking an X-ray of his chest. I had to leave and take my puppy to another vet in another county to get a correct diagnosis and treatment. Then last night my puppy had a reaction to shots and I tried to give them one more chance, but they just took my money again. I will never take any of my pets there again.

Make no mistake about it. Your support staff IS JUST AS IMPORTANT as your doctors because they are the first point of contact for your business. Today, I brought my English Bulldog in for a UTI, I was greeted by your very rude rep. I understand this is COVID time and we all have to call in when we arrive. When I called in, your staff member was very rude and seemingly frustrated with me when I was unable to see or provide the parking spot # to her. I noted to her that my car was parked by your hospital signage where the... read more

Dont fucking do it... the worst spot to bring your pet... had me pay 2200 and couldn't tell me what was wrong with my pup... and just Last night I take my other dog there.. bcuz they are the one and only emergency veterinarian care open 24hrs ‍..so since they this they over charge.. my dog ran underneath my car trailer and gashed her back pretty bad.. so I'm thinking maybe 5 stitches at best... they me they have to do surgery and it's going to be on the low end 1500 high end 2000... and if don't to pay that I can take her to... read more

Business response:

Mr. Napper, I appreciate your comments. It should not be a surprise that an emergency Veterinary hospital that is staffed 24/7/365 is going to be more expensive than the low cost clinic you took your pet to today for the larger than 5cm gash your dog had on her back. You presented to our hospital at 1:15am - we gave you an estimate for the surgical repair and you declined. We gave you an alternative hospital located in Virginia that does low cost surgeries. It is not owned or sponsored by Waldorf Emergency Care. I am s... read more

I took my cat here for excessive vomiting and dehydration only symptoms. She's 6 years old and has literally never been sick I couldn't get any appointments with local vets so I thought taking her here would be best. Long story short she received some shots to help her symptoms subside and she was feeling better within a couple hours okay great I'll find a vet to follow up with and move on.... couple days later she's sneezing and has watery eyes. Completely different symptoms and with everything going on I'm beginning to f... read more
