Dont fucking do it... the worst spot to bring your pet... had me pay 2200 and couldn't tell me what was wrong with my pup... and just Last night I take my other dog there.. bcuz they are the one and only emergency veterinarian care open 24hrs ‍..so since they this they over charge.. my dog ran underneath my car trailer and gashed her back pretty bad.. so I'm thinking maybe 5 stitches at best... they me they have to do surgery and it's going to be on the low end 1500 high end 2000... and if don't to pay that I can take her to... read more

Business response:

Mr. Napper, I appreciate your comments. It should not be a surprise that an emergency Veterinary hospital that is staffed 24/7/365 is going to be more expensive than the low cost clinic you took your pet to today for the larger than 5cm gash your dog had on her back. You presented to our hospital at 1:15am - we gave you an estimate for the surgical repair and you declined. We gave you an alternative hospital located in Virginia that does low cost surgeries. It is not owned or sponsored by Waldorf Emergency Care. I am s... read more

I took my cat here for excessive vomiting and dehydration only symptoms. She's 6 years old and has literally never been sick I couldn't get any appointments with local vets so I thought taking her here would be best. Long story short she received some shots to help her symptoms subside and she was feeling better within a couple hours okay great I'll find a vet to follow up with and move on.... couple days later she's sneezing and has watery eyes. Completely different symptoms and with everything going on I'm beginning to f... read more

On Friday May 15, as much as I didn't want to, I had no choice but to bring my dog here as an emergency because she was having trouble breathing and it was the only animal hospital that would take her in the area. I had to wait in my car because of covid-19, and a female staff member took my dog inside. I then got a call from the lady at the front desk saying that they were monitoring my dog and that they were requiring $500 for a "red form" before they would do anything with her. The lady was pretty friendly and tried to he... read more

Business response:

Amanda P. Your pet presented to WECARE on 5/14/2020, in critical condition with respiratory / cardiac distress. When she was brought into the hospital she was immediately placed into an Oxygen cage to assist her with her breathing. Dr. Baynes spoke with you and one other adult who was on a conference call. While Dr. Baynes was trying to get a medical history from you over the phone - you and the other adult were screaming at each other. Dr. Baynes explained that your pet was currently in oxygen and that he would like to ... read more

If I could give them a zero star rating, I would. I took my dog to this terrible place because his left eye was swollen and matted together one morning. They sent him home with eye drops for seven days. They did a dye test and said my dog's eyes had no marks and was fine. I did as instructed and after 7 days my dog's eye was closed shut and a bump on the eyelid. I took him back to the vet and waited 2 hours without been seen. I took him back later that evening. I was told my dog need another dye test and that he needs t... read more

Business response:

Kim H. I wrote you a private response on yelp (3/26/2020) but I have not received a reply. I appreciate your frustration and I am hoping that this edited message (removed your pet's name) will help explain what is going on with your pet. On May 16, 2020 your pet's eye staining on both eyes was negative and Dr. Rhinesmith diagnosed your pet with Chronic Corneal Scarring. This is about the eye itself - not about a bump on the eye lid. You were directed to keep the e-collar on and use the eye medication as directed. It ... read more

Will say I thought I was thankful for your service but now I'm really questioning why I brought my sweet kitty to your office. Not only did you not follow though to what was promised, I NEVER received an detailed bill nor did you follow up with my credit. I had to call 5 times before anyone would help! Ashley the office manager is a joke, never turns anyone's call and doesn't have any answer, put me on hold to follow up with others. What a joke! PLEASE take you pet someplace else!!!! Horrible business RIP Krissy!

Business response:

I am sorry that you are so very upset. Ashley called and left you a message on your answering machine on 3/6/2020 giving you our condolences and trying to refund the $42 dollar credit you had. We do not ordinarily call owner's multiple times about a refund. We leave a message if you are not available and we tell you when you can call Ashley back so that she can process your refund. You called us back the first time on 3/31/2020. Unfortunately, Ashley was not in the office. As I'm sure you know we have been extremely bu... read more

Just went in because my pup got a cut on his leg earlier today. He was fine throughout the day with no complaining but still decided to have him checked just in case. At first they were nice but all of the sudden my dog needs "emergency surgery" and other things, wanted to charge me $1000+, when we declined the procedure to take it somewhere else for much much cheaper, everyone In there started being extremely rude and passive aggressive, the vet even threatened to call animal control because we declined the surgery? Everyo... read more

Trash and a rip off 100 dollars to do something I can do myself and then everything is overpriced on top of that. Sent a lady in my room and I could t u sweat and a word she was saying tried to get me to pay more money and I told them I didn't have it. Horrible experience would not recommend this vet.

I brought my cat to have examined for vomiting and not sound coming of her when meowing. Doctor only checked her mouth, heart beat and stomach, she did not checked for fever nor checked her ears or eyes for any discharge, and did not checked her weight either. When I used to take her to her regular vet, he checked all that. So I waist $100 for an examination I could have done myself. I was not that pleased with this type of service for that amount of money. My cat's regular vet charged less and gave a thorough examination t... read more

A vet's oath or PROFIT? If you have an emergency on the weekend or after-hours because your normal vet is closed, they know they have you over a barrel and feed you any line to charge you as much as they can get. I brought my dog in one day after-hours due to snippet accident. The doctor had to stitch the area. After all the unnecessary test, a simple suture job cost over $1,200.00. Took dog home with the suggested medicines. Dog is lethargic, can't stand-up and won't eat. Take dog back to the emergency room the next ... read more
