I appreciate the medical staff who did show some empathy toward me and my partner when we had to put our cat down last night. However, the front desk woman, as well as the main vet, showed absolutely no concern, no compassion, or empathy toward us or our cat. After he euthanized our cat, we got no "I'm sorry for your loss" or anything like that. It was "let us know when you're ready and just knock on the door" to tell them when we were ready for them to pack up his body to take home. Two of the female workers, which I cannot... read more
Waldorf animal emergency hospital has got to be the worst. I took my dog there after she had been bitten by another dog where you could clearly see puncture marks, and Dr. S. Says it appears to look like an abrasion. Omg all these people want to do is overcharged you for service. My honest opinion of this place is, they know that you will pay to make your pet feel better. I absolutely hate going there, and will never take any of my pets there again. If I could give - I would.
Business response:
We last saw your pet on September 7th, after sustaining an injury while staying with a boarding facility. Dr. S diagnosed your pet with superficial abrasions. He clipped and cleaned the site. He dispensed an e-collar and a topical antibiotic. You were directed to recheck with your family Veterinarian in 1 week. So, your pet was examined at 7pm and discharged after being treated at 8pm on a Thursday night for $242. We are all just trying to provide your pet, and the other's who present to We Care with quality veterinary ... read more
No Stars! This place is beyond bad, the so called vet doc, wanted to euthanize my dog the same day she saw him claiming that he had cancer. She did No blood work and based her theory on X-rays and the complaints we came in with which she did not read nor their technicians. This C vet graduate, scared the crap out of me and my daughter and made us cry as if she was 100% correct but her incompetence just couldn't explain me how she had that diagnosis that took 10 min. My baby was taken to better hands and he is on a road to re... read more

Laura, Dr. McGuire is a Boarded Internal Medicine specialist who is very well respected in the community. Your pet presented with difficulty breathing, to the point that we put him in an Oxygen cage to assist his breathing. Dr. McGuire examined your pet and performed an ultrasound of the thorax. Her ultrasound showed pleural effusion with a mass noted in the left cranial lung lobe. Given that finding, the fact that your pet had not eaten since 9/12/2023, your pets age of 9.5 year old Doberman, and that your pet needed o... read more
Office staff responded to my first request for records Dr Nancy Mcguire saved the life of a 6 yr old cat that was surrendered with lack of payment by taking him to her home! Now this cat is in his forever home with Me! He is so sweet! thankful for her kindness! Janice Levitt
Honestly, don't even bother going here. Luckily it seems my pup ended up being okay and didn't need emergency services, but I walked out before we could be seen/evaluated. The level of rudeness and attitude from the staff was unmatched...and it wasn't just to me, I watched other encounters as well. There was no way that I was willing to give this office a dime. In response to the owner: I did not tell your staff on the phone that he was fine, I said that we left. Big difference. Once your staff determined he was not criti... read more

Rachel, Your pet presented to WeCare at 2:01pm yesterday. You indicated that you thought he was choking. We sent a technician out to your car to triage your dog, who was BAR (bright alert responsive), pink mm (meaning breathing well and profusing organs well, panting but without breathing difficulty, not drooling or having any trouble swallowing. This meaning your pet was stable. Our technician told you that your pet appeared stable and that we would call you when our DVM was available to see your pet. We called you ... read more
Do not take your pet here.... I agree with all the reviews because I had similar experiences. This place should be investigated for their care practices to our animals and customer service...
BEWARE!! My pet was ill and my experience at this facility was terrible! The lack of compassion I felt by the staff was deplorable. I am sharing my experience/opinion in hopes that no other pet parent experience this at such a critical and vulnerable time. I took my pet here as he was exhibiting severe symptoms. Although I signed and agreed to treatment for lab work, they would not even run the test until I left the treatment room and paid for the service first at the front desk. Later when I took him back after his symptoms... read more

Our deepest sympathies for your loss. Sometimes despite all of our efforts the patient will not make a recovery. On your initial visit on 7/14/2023 for diarrhea and hind limb issues, it would have been a great help for our DVM's if you had consented to diagnostics so that we could make an evaluation and offer a treatment plan. Your pet was discharged with only meds to go home. When you returned with your pet on 7/25/23, after your pet had diarrhea for over 10 days and was now vomiting. You declined to allow us to perfor... read more
My pet was not treated well and after $600+ I still have no clue or idea what's going on with her, had better luck at a different facility for a tenth of that cost. I wouldn't bring an injured wild animal to this location. You're better off going anywhere but here honestly. Research facilities in the area before wasting your money here, you'll get quoted a high amount for services, meds, and examination fee before they even look at your pet, but it's a bandaid for whatever may be going on with your fur baby. The "Emergency C... read more
This place has the worst customer service I've ever seen. They have no order to how they see patients and the lady at the front desk obviously hates working there and dealing with people. You will wait forever in the parking lot and when your finally seen, all they are concerned with is fees. I will never be back again!
