After waiting for hours in the car, they refused to let us come in with our dog, smugly brushing off our warning that he panics in medical situations and would need us there to help contai him. Well, they learned the hard way that we were right, and maybe we did know how to manage our dog. They decided to let us in at thapoint, only ro learn it was too late, the dog was worked up into a panic by their ineptitude and we were sent away hours after arriving with no medical care, a sick dog and an overtired toddler. Maybe learn... read more

Thouroughly read the reviews on yelp so that you can determine for yourself how rude the staff is (doctor included). Everyone isn't lying! After my yorkie was attacked by an unleashed German shepherd while on a walk yesterday, my dog was pulled out of his stroller and sustained several injuries during the attack. As my husband and I were very stressed and traumatized, the staff, especially the doctor was very rude and had horrible bedside manners towards paying customers. My dog was put down, so any human in their right mind... read more

My dog, a 14 year old Shih Zhu, all of a sudden could not walk. This was back in May. This dreadful place was the only one open and seeing how my dog could not walk, pee, or poop normally. I decided it was an emergency. We waited for 3 hours. Now yes I understand the way ERs work and the most life threatening cases are seen first. However for those three hours I saw one pet go in. Luckily my car had AC. Another dog and his owner there did not have AC for the 4 hours they were waiting. Finally they came to get my dog. I don't... read more

I had to calm down after the way we were treated here before I left a review. Our 15 lb Zuchon had a swollen belly, kept trying to go to the bathroom and vomit without being able to. He was pacing and whimpering. So our first thought was rush him here. They refused to examine him and decided based on the description that he had bloat and sent us to Bowie. Bowie had a 4 hour wait so they said go home and when it was our turn they would give us a window of arrival time. When we got home we realized a guest left Chinese food on... read more

Terrible customer service. Would not recommend. The staff does not care about animals or customer service by any means. Called because my dog was vomiting, foaming at the mouth and fell over. When called to inform them we were on our way the staff told us to call when we are 5 mins away so they can be prepared for my dog when he arrives. Upon arrival the staff told us we had to go outside and follow the text prompts and sit in my car. My husband and I were confused because that wasn't what we were told when we initially call... read more

Business response:

There is a check-in process. Every hospital (human or veterinary) has to get information on the patient, you - the client, and a history of what is going on with your pet - so that we can quickly assess your pet and move on to stabilization, diagnostics, treatments. You as the owner need to be a willing participant in this process. When a patient is entering the hospital that is in critical condition requiring stabilization (per your assessment on the digital check in form) the owner is given the option for a red form. T... read more

Everyone was great, except a tech named Megan. My dog needed to be euthanized, I'm crying and visually upset and am in the waiting room waiting for them to put him on a cart after being euthanized. It's all windows you can see all around and as Megan is carting off my just euthanized dog she decides to skip and play while pushing the cart and run into a door to push it open instead of waiting for the other tech helping to open it for her and jolts my dead dogs body everywhere right in front of me. She visually looks to me ... read more

The doctors at this clinic are great, however most of the rest of the staff are rude, and unhelpful. As an Emergehcy clinic expect to pay A LOT more than most clinics, but they have the equipment and the ability to do anything that could be needed to diagnose your animal. if it is determined surgery is needed they can do it immediately. calling for medical records to follow up with your usual vet will be frustrating, they do not like to give more than they give at discharge, no matter what tests or x-rays are done. over... read more

I beg to differ with you about your employee being rude. You weren't there to hear it, people in the parking lot Heard the conversation and commented, was that really necessary? Additionally, hearing it once was Enough. I'm sorry my phone ringer was turned off it was by mistake it wasn't intentional. Sticking her head out the door and saying Mr Burch check your phone, we are trying to reach you would have been enough, without the condescending attitude and threats to be moved to the bottom of the list. I made no comment abou... read more

Mike, I would like to address your concerns. 1. Waited Waited..... Your pet was checked in at 9:06pm. He was examined. The DVM called you to have you authorize pain medications which were prepared and given. Your pet was radiographed and the DVM reviewed the radiographs at 9:46pm. 2. Your dog was painful..... no one wants to be bitten. Pet's in pain ofter bite. This does not blame the pet and should certainly not be blamed on the staff member who would like to avoid being bit. Bite wounds hurt, they required medic... read more
