I will never take my dog to this place for an emergency ever again! While playing with my bichon on Monday, I noticed a streak of blood on the carpet. Checked my dog and it was coming from his right front paw. I wrapped a cool wet paper towel around it to stop the bleeding. The bleeding continued & I put another wet paper towel on it. I was nervous about the blood & didn't know what the cause was. Banfield, where I take my dog regularly had just closed and when called, got the number to this place. I called the emergency fac... read more

NEVER take your pet here if you want to find out what's wrong with them! I recently took my dog here which resulted in them taking samples of a mass on his paw to be tested. It was late Saturday night so they told me to expect the results back in about 3-4 days. By Thursday I heard nothing so I finally called and asked if the results were in. They were and apparently a doctor is the only person who can talk about the results. I left my name and number as they said a doctor would call when available. Another day goes by - no ... read more

My 1 year old Goldendoodle swallowed a whole chicken bone and started vomiting the next day. As luck would have it, it was on a Saturday and our vet's office was closing. They referred us to We Care. Upon entering, I was quickly impressed with how clean the facility was. The wait was not long. For those two things, they get two stars. It goes downhill from there. An xray was taken and I was told by the doctor that surgery is warranted. He then leaves the room and while I wait for a quote, I of course think of lots of... read more

Although taking your pet to the animal hospital is never an ideal experience. I appreciated all the advice given by the front desk staff as well as the techs. They were very helpful. Once we arrived the wait was not long and Dr. Fox has very good bedside manner lol. Their prices are fair but treating your dog is always expensive!

First off, I want to note that a 24 hour animal hospital is not a cheap place to run. You need to have people who can perform emergency treatment and surgeries, and who will work through the night to watch sick pets. So yes it's going to cost more for treatment than your friendly neighborhood veterinarian. It's not like they aren't very upfront about what the costs will be after they see the animal. Also, having been through the "red flag" treatment that requires a deposit, yes they can identify when a pet is in need of ur... read more

March 2017 UPDATE: We brought in another of our dogs with a limp, the diagnosis was bone cancer, approximately 3 months to live. We were told we would be given 'maintenance' (for pain) medication for 3 months. There was some mix up and the whole 3 months wasn't what we got. When I called, multiple times, to try to get the remainder before my dog RAN OUT OF HIS PAIN MEDS WHILE HE WAS DYING, I was told very matter of factly that I should go see my regular vet. The explanation of how difficult it would be to physically put a 10... read more

My feral cat Pumpkin stayed in the same spot for 2 days. I decided to take her here. The front desk tech was warm and welcoming. The male tech who help service me and my Pumpkin was great. I thought the cost of her care was expensive -$1600 for a hospital stay for a week to find out what is wrong with her. With a "maybe" diagnosis of lymphoma, I decided to put her down. Dr. Andrew Walther was very professional and very knowledgeable. He had a very nice calm tone which put me at ease about my decision. I even received a... read more
