Customer service was awful. Dog there for over 5 hours and got no answers. Shaved a patch outta my dogs face.
The lady jade at the reception desk is very rude and racist. she made a racist comment about CHARLIE KIRK online and how he deserved to die
absolutely abysmal. i will never come here again. i will drive the additional 50 miles to ANYWHERE ELSE. one vet lied about what medications my pet was given. LIED. i came in at 6am. no treatment plan until 2pm. could not get pet checked out timely despite 3 hours notice. these people caused one problem after another.
My dog got into something. This horrible place refused to see him because I didn't know what he ingested. The front desk girl was extremely rude! Never go there!!!!
on friday july 11th i was here because my dog got attacked and the walls are so thin i heard them say they were going to let my dog bleed out infront of me to get more money. specifically Dr. Fox
Not sure if your hospital is short staffed, or because it was a holiday but they truly need more than one doctor whose in surgery back to back. It's been 5 years since I last had to come to this place but I hope they hire more doctors. Also it's 2025 and your reviews are more negative than positive (even my primary clinic won't recommend your emergency services)... Maybe you all need to stop making excuses for every negative review... And actually take it all in to change how your hospital operates.
We've been to this location several times over the last few months and the atmosphere is depressing while the staff seem to be going through the motions instead of truly empathizing with customers who want effective healthcare for their pet. In the latest situation, they ended up recommending surgery for our cat who ended up with complications. We had to call multiple times over two days to get updates on our pet, when their phone system claims they will keep you informed of any major updates for your pet. In the final upd... read more
On Friday, May 23, I contacted Banfield to have my dog seen for what appeared to be an infected wound. Unfortunately, they had no openings and advised me to go to a 24-hour emergency clinic. Since I live in Clinton, I chose Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Waldorf, despite their mixed reviews, as I had visited them years ago and had an okay experience. I arrived at 1:18 p.m. and was placed into an exam room around 2:30 pm. I explained to the vet tech that my dog is already under the care of two veterinarians--his primary at B... read more
Business response:
Shane has many physical problems which were indentified in the emergency exam performed by our DVM You declined the recommended diagnostic plan due to financial constraints. The DVM explained that your pet needs treatment for the T3-L3 compressive myelopathy which is causing the foot to drag. He further discussed that the pelvic limb wound will continue to get worse as the foot is dragging causng this chronic injury. We could not provide a treatment plan that would help your pet within your budget. The wound simply needs mor... read more
The vet was condescending and rude, with no empathy or compassion. It was clear he was most interested in making a sale than on the well being of the dog and getting objective information from him was impossible. The owners of the rescue charity also spoke with him and had the same experience. Wasted 3hrs.
Waldorf Emergency Care has a 3.3 star rating with 880 reviews.
