on friday july 11th i was here because my dog got attacked and the walls are so thin i heard them say they were going to let my dog bleed out infront of me to get more money. specifically Dr. Fox
Not sure if your hospital is short staffed, or because it was a holiday but they truly need more than one doctor whose in surgery back to back. It's been 5 years since I last had to come to this place but I hope they hire more doctors. Also it's 2025 and your reviews are more negative than positive (even my primary clinic won't recommend your emergency services)... Maybe you all need to stop making excuses for every negative review... And actually take it all in to change how your hospital operates.
We've been to this location several times over the last few months and the atmosphere is depressing while the staff seem to be going through the motions instead of truly empathizing with customers who want effective healthcare for their pet. In the latest situation, they ended up recommending surgery for our cat who ended up with complications. We had to call multiple times over two days to get updates on our pet, when their phone system claims they will keep you informed of any major updates for your pet. In the final upd... read more
On Friday, May 23, I contacted Banfield to have my dog seen for what appeared to be an infected wound. Unfortunately, they had no openings and advised me to go to a 24-hour emergency clinic. Since I live in Clinton, I chose Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Waldorf, despite their mixed reviews, as I had visited them years ago and had an okay experience. I arrived at 1:18 p.m. and was placed into an exam room around 2:30 pm. I explained to the vet tech that my dog is already under the care of two veterinarians--his primary at B... read more
The vet was condescending and rude, with no empathy or compassion. It was clear he was most interested in making a sale than on the well being of the dog and getting objective information from him was impossible. The owners of the rescue charity also spoke with him and had the same experience. Wasted 3hrs.
I would select zero stars if that was an option. I took my dog in today as she was urinating frequently and it had some blood. The vet on staff ran a urinalysis. Several levels indicated UTI but the urinalysis did not detect bacteria. Her urine had blood, high amounts of red and white blood cells and high protein, high struvite crystals, etc. The write up in the urinalysis even stated infection is possible cause. The vet admitted that the urinalysis may not be picking up bacteria but refused to prescribe antibiotics beca... read more
Sitting here waiting hours to help my cat only for people who came well after me to get helped first. My cat is also under urgent. I've asked the lady at the front desk twice now the wait time and each time she just told me to simply wait. Its been well over 2 hours and this service is some shit.
In the last 4 years I have taken my italian greyhound and my german shepherd to wecare and both dogs because of the lousy care recieved had to be put down. We are owed a refund on my german shepherd and it has been over 20 business days and they are screwing around on us. We are never going to we care again and will be putting in the extra effort to either drive to cats and dogs or the emergency clinic in annapolis. I can't risk losing another dog to people who don't give a damn.
This place is awful. Super long wait time, in excess of 7 hours start to finish. They did not save my dog! I am owed a refund of over 2100.00. They said 10 -14 business days. Well it has been over 22 business days and I have received nothing! I have called twice just to be told that my dog's record would be reviewed when the business manager got to it. But the business manager is never there! I have taken 2 dogs to there for emergency care and both have died! Do not trust this place with your beloved pets! Lori Martin
