I'm on the fence about this place. Recently moved to Fairfax and chose this place for my cat's wellness visit and an ear cleaning. This was on July 8th. I brought her records but they didn't take them. Everything seemed fine, in and out visit. Then August 5th early morning I discovered my cat had a ruptured anal sac abscess! They fit me in at 11:30am. Checked in, waited briefly and then the vet tech came to get my cat. The actual veterinarian called me to confirm it was the anal sac and my cat will need sedated to treat, s... read more

The doctors at this practice are the best. I love Dr. Katsur. However, some of the newer front office staff are abysmal. They are not well trained and frequently leave you standing there waiting to be helped while they stare at their computer screens. There are some exceptions to this like Hailey and Lauren who are both really nice and super helpful but the newer staff need some serious training in customer service. This place could easily get 5 star ratings due to the great vets here but this won't happen until the front of... read more

Was a very good vet up until my 13 year old Yorkshire terrier is in her last life stages. The vets have been not been very comforting, and neither have the receptionists. Communication has been very poor, and this is very concerning. They mainly communicate when it is entirely convenient for them ONLY. There has been a lack of empathy for our family, and we have been clients for 20+ years. It shows a lack of care for patients. It is clear that the relationships we have created mean nothing to the practice. We will be seeking... read more

One of the worse hospital I have taken my cat . For a very small procedure vet wanted to give anesthesia to remove a very minor cyst. cat is 14 and definately giving anesthesia is not recommended. Regardless she was so angry with me her hands were shaking and totally inappropriate behaviour. I ran out of the office before any more exam very rude woman and only wanted to charge a lot . I took my kitty to different vet and we took care of cyst with no problem I do not recommend this hospital

I didn't go to their location, but I was on hold on the phone for over 10 minutes and every time someone picked up the phone they would put me back on hold. Eventually the call seemed to have gone through just to have the phone ring several times. I hung up. I did try calling back a few times, but same thing. My pup had been throwing up and they sounded appealing because of their $0 emergency visit fee.

T&C Animal hospital could be a 5-star operation but it's not managed well. We're rolling with them for now with our puppy but the Hunt is on for a new vet. Here's why: - T&C is beholden to their techs. I suspect they are poorly managed and left to work in any way they choose. The result is long wait times for checking in and picking up pets and confusion. Did my pet eat today? Don't know. Did he get a bath? Unclear. What's his weight. Let me call a tech to find out . . . Paging available tech for check in. No response. -... read more

I have written a great review for this animal hospital before but today on a holiday I called and they clearly say if this is an emergency press 0. It was a very serious situation and I pressed 0 only to have it ring 20 times and then go to voicemail. I called back to try to make an appointment and it did the same thing. So I guess it's a good vet unless you have an emergency. Then they're rather pathetic

Don't be fooled by the reviews! This place is extremely unprofessional. Not only did they mess up my appointment and unprofessionally dealt with it, but they also to inform me about the lab results that my puppy got. I received a much better experience at a Banfield office.. which says a lot. Please save your money and go elsewhere!!

We have only gone here bc the rescue we are fostering with uses them. I had a question for the vet following a prescription we got - I was put on hold 3x for 10 minutes each, hung up on 1x before I got the answer. You want good service, 24 hour care, go to PenderVet.
