I don't trust Town & Country Animal Hospital to care for my dog, and neither should you. Our family is finally done with T&C Animal Hospital. They have misdiagnosed multiple UTIs, and have explicitly recommended against urinalysis tests while our Labrador has showed obvious signs of UTIs -- usually it seems like they just don't want to be bothered to do the work. They also completely missed the boat on what turned out to be severe hip and elbow displasia in our 3 year old. We took our dog to see them several times, express... read more
The vet was great. Their Pharmacy staff is incompentent. Vet ordered meds ro be sent yo me. Pharmacy sent my dogs' medicine to another client. I got medicine for another dog.i called the pharmacist who said she'd let me know when meds ready. After the pharmacist texted me the meds were ready, I drove over for curbs side pick up. It took 55 minutes, 30 of which I spent on hold to get the meds. They were also supposed to call in a pain prescription gor one of my dogs to a human pharmacy. Two week-days later rx still was... read more
Had our kitten spay. Pretty good experience. Curbside pickup and drop off is helpful. Got a call from the vet/surgeon after procedure which was nice.
This vet overcharged me at a visit to get a vaccine. They performed an exam on my dog without telling me I would be surcharged, since I was a returning customer. If I had been a new customer, I would have not been charged for the exam and only for the vaccination, which makes little sense. My guess that this is an incentive to get new patients. My dog goes to a specialist vet and only went here to get a vaccine. I was unhappy with the condescending nature of the customer service from both the vet and the receptionist. When... read more
I had to unexpectedly put my dog to sleep last week. I had called his current vet to schedule and was put on hold for over 30 minutes twice so decided to call Towne and Country. We used to go to T&C before moving farther away so they were the first to come to mind. I have never interacted with people with lower levels of empathy. I spoke with 2 people. After hearing the reason why I was calling while I was clearly fighting tears, neither expressed any sympathy and their tone never changed from upbeat and bubbly. This was... read more
If Zero stars were an option, thats how much id rate this UNPROFESSIONAL Animal Hospital‼I was recommended by another patient to come to this location instead of my original vet and this has to be the WORSE DECISION EVER! I took my dog to get a consolation for a bump she grew on her leg. They informed that they would need to do some lab work, send it out and the results would take about 3 days. It has been 2 weeks since they sent out the lab work And ive received no communication about my dogs results. During those two week... read more
I don't normally leave reviews at places and especially bad reviews, and ESPECIALLY during Covid but I brought my dog here for a problem she had and they diagnosed with her several life threatening issues after doing an x-ray. We were charged with $800. They told me the x-ray wasn't the best and that we should try bringing her to the ER if things get worse. A couple of days later, we took her to the ER and they re-did the x-rays due to the x-rays being extremely hard to read. It turns out she had none of those things wrong w... read more
I took my dog here for a neuter and microchip. First, check in for surgery was 1+ hours! They claim to be "understaffed" but it appears to be the ordinary course of things. Second, the intake promised the vet would call about an update after surgery. They never called. Third, I called them but was placed on hold for over 30 minutes. When I called back only to be placed on hold again, I complained, and the intake was "I'm busy with another client". They don't seem to be very responsive or efficiently run. I'm definitely... read more
Super expensive. And they don't tell you the right prices for anything and just randomly add stuff to him to make the payment higher. We went in for a sedated nail trimming (80ish) , came out with 180$ bill. Ear cleaning, shots and tests also included when I didn't ask for it. Just be careful to specify in why you want or you'll end up with a huge bill.
