I have been taking my pets to Town and Country for the part 9 years. I used to like it here, and I still really respect Dr. Katsur and Dr. Bussanich. Everything else has progressively worsened since Covid. The reception staff have little veterinary knowledge. I suppose I understand this since that's not their job. Unless you can talk directly with the pharmacy staff, they are completely unreliable. This means that they rarely listen/respond to voicemails, do not reach out to update you on prescriptions, and do not an... read more
After second visit , iam done. The doctors are nice but just double check what you paid on invoice.
We have been attending T&C Animal Hospital for about 7 years. They are incredibly expensive, arrogant and careless. There have been times we have been disappointed in their service but wanted to keep trying with them because the pets know them. We have heard the front office staff discussing clients in unflattering ways, when we've been in the waiting room for loooooong periods of time. Very unprofessional. Have recently had a problem with a pet pup with leg pain and took T&C vet's advice to get x-rays ($500) and to see a sp... read more
I woke one morning to find my previously healthy, 110 lb. 10 yr old dog whining and his stomach severely distended. He would not lay down and appeared to be pain. I decided I should take him in to get a diagnosis of what may be causing the issue. After paying for x-rays and ultrasound I was told that it was not a liquid or gas--none of the doctors on staff had seen this type of bloating and all suspected some type of blockage. So I agreed to pay the estimated $4,000 to open up his stomach, discover the blockage and clean ... read more
Recently this place has gone to the dogs. But not in a good way. Late appointments and a non caring front office staff. After waiting for an hour in the place with no one else in the waiting room, I finally left. After I left the office manager called to apologize and offered my next visit free. When I came in for my next visit, not only was there another long wait, but they have no record of their notes from my last visit. Plus don't get me started on their online booking system. They send you a text saying your dog is read... read more
I paid almost $800 to euthanize and cremate my small breed dog. I was told 1-2weeks she would be returned to me. They never confirmed my number, so I was never informed that she was ready to be picked up. She was ready to be picked up after a few days and I never knew; I assumed it was just taking the full 2 weeks. I never received a follow up email or anything, so her ashes were just sitting in an office the whole time. And when we brought her to be humanely euthanized after a long health battle, we were told "to take our... read more
I want to solely base my review on the facts, since it was a literal life or death situation. There is another location that is ran by the same individuals.... Columbia Pike Hospital I brought my beloved pet in due to a several days of lethargy, no appetite and diarrhea. They never completed an ultrasound or an Xray to rule out a possible obstruction. Just got a prescription for antibiotics and a stool sample all for a very high price. The next day my poor pup threw up a towel! A towel that could have killed her. A towel ... read more
It's been three months since my dog died and I can finally write this review. Please consider another vet. Last summer, my dog was panting so much that he'd wake me up at night. I took him to Town & Country (his vet) and saw a new vet (they rotate it seems) and she said that it was his way of expressing pain. She indicated that it was likely arthritis and a $300.00 x-ray confirmed it. Then, earlier this year, same type of behavior, but he was drinking lots and lots of water and urinating all the time. Again, I took him ... read more
Read article in paper about Vet volunteering in Ukraine, was quite moved. Such vet was Dr Katsur with Town and Country. It was stated that there was fund raising for shelters in Ukraine via crowdfunding. Not certain how to go about it, i emailed her a)expressed congrads to her for her work b) however, lengthy, i outlined my dogs history and expressed interested bringing him to her.c) offered to donate $200 to her cause of opening shelter in ukraine.
