I have been going here for over a year and always experienced good veterinary service. When I asked my vet where I should go for grooming she recommended their in house service. I brought my beautiful long haired Australian Shepherd in to thin her coat for the hot weather. She came back scalped. I explicitly told them I did not want her shaved. Now my once beautiful long haired Aussie looks like a pit bull. I am worried I will have to keep her out of the sun so she does not get burned, that is how bare they left her skin. Ha... read more

I am writing because of a very bad experience at this facility on July 26. I had taken the appointment for our two dogs during the preceding week and after answering detailed questions about our dogs weight and breed and what services we wanted I was told that the prices were as follows: Dog 1 (Sahara): $ 75,-- Dog 2 (Diva): $ 135,-- The actual price for Sahara was $ 82,-- BUT for Diva it was $ 161.97!!!!! If you like waiting an hour past your appointment time, then this is the spot for you. No one came out to address the length of time it took for us to get into our appointment. When we did get in, the doctor was very nice. We had just rescued our girl and he pinpointed how old she was and gave us suggestions on the different boosters we could get, without forcing it on us. Honestly, I'd have gone back if the wait time wasn't so friggin long.

I bring my dog here for regular visits and sick visits. I use Dr. Reed Hall. He is very attentive and I like that he calls to check on your dog after a sick visit. If after the first sick visit, things don't look better, he will tell you to come back in and he will take another look, without charge. You can also call him and talk with him on the phone about any follow-up concerns. I am satisfied that I am getting good care for my dog. They have referral discounts and first visit discounts. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff at Town and Country. My Labrador is not the most friendly with strangers but he has always been in love with the team here, which says a lot. The doctors are very knowledgeable and responsive to phone calls when I am stressed about my dog. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is simply because of cost. They are expensive as most vets are. We have pet insurance but truly pet insurance is a waste, it covers so little. I feel at times vets charge so much just... read more

This a review of the boarding only. The Vets are great! Took my 2 shih tzus to board for 48 hours. Just picked them up and 1 has feces all over her face. The other has wet and dried feces all over him. They likely have been sitting in the feces the last two days. This isn't the 1st time this happened either... I use them for boarding last year and had the same issue. I thought it was a one off...should've learned my lesson then. Why would you give me two dogs that obviously have FECES all over them?!?!?! They have a customer service problem...beginning with the founder, who like many of his doctors on staff, does not call you back. The receptionists sometimes misquote prices for medications over the phone and then do not honor what they say when you show up to pay. On the other hand, the doctors I dealt with were very conscious to help you minimize costs, which is really helpful when you are on a limited budget. Had a an initial good experience and then unfortunately a terrible experience, we submitted our complaints to the management and received no response, unfortunately some of the people working there are incredibly rude.

The clinic is clean, staff is nice. I would have preferred that costs were more upfront. The prices are a bit higher than others in the area, and although I don't mind paying for best quality service, I definitely was surprised at the bill - and there wasn't really any questioning "Did you want this to be done," it was more, "We are going to run some basic tests."
