I love this veterinary hospital! I've been using them for many years and am always surprised to get an appointment so quickly, sometimes the same day even in non-emergency cases. The facility is always clean and well maintained and the staff is always friendly. I honestly can't say enough about how wonderful Town & Country is and I can't recommend them enough! They have taken care of my 3 cats since we moved to Fairfax 5 years ago. One of my cats, Misty, passed away in July after a short battle with cancer. Before movin... read more

Thought I was being smart. Bringing all 3 cats to vet at the same time. Um. Nope. Not smart. One cat peed in his carrier before we got here. What a mess. They cleaned my carrier for me with cheer! Wow! They also cleaned him off with some dry shampoo. Bonus! And they had Febreze in the room so I Febrezed my pants. And they gave me a towel for my pants too. (After kitty boy peed in his carrier, I had let him out and he got in my lap and I think he went again.) They are being very kind and recommending only what we need fo... read more

Had a really great experience with Dr. Klein today. My cat had urinary tract problems and needed to be seen on a Saturday afternoon. She was compassionate, thorough and offered reasonable treatment options. Our cat was well cared for. They are open all day Saturday for regular visits, no emergency mark up. The invoice including prescriptions and ultrasound was really very reasonable. I have been stunned many times by the recommended complex course of treatment and high cost of services at other vets on weekends. This was... read more

I first starting taking my boxer Roxxanna to Town and Country based on the recommendation of a close friend. Sadly after a couple of months, it turns out that my beloved boxer was very ill. The staff was nothing short of fantastic from our first visit, to the moment we had to say goodbye. Their determination, knowledge, willingness and compassion and is everything you hope for when you are trying to figure out what is wrong with your pet. When the time came to put Roxxanna down, I used the mobile vet service. From the moment... read more

Too many staff people; too many doctors; and not enough communication between them. Frustrating

Front desk and vets at town and country ... can't say anything negative. But I wish I could give a negative review for TOM the manger. This location is sisters with Annandale Columbia pike. Where a vet and nurse choked my dog. ( witness present). His health is going down fast, now I have to god knows how much and take him to a specialist again for what they did. All I wanted was answers to what occurred during the exam and why no one was reaching out to me. And instead of giving me answers, and being helpful, like what th... read more

Took my cat here for a physical exam since she started limping. The doctor felt her limbs and didn't notice anything wrong but suggested an X-ray (I declined) and prescribed pain medication. The next day, my cat started hopping on one leg while on the pain medication. I then realized that the doctor never checked her paws or nails for any injury as I consider this to be the potential problem. I called to get another exam done since the veterinarian failed to do the full exam the first time and now my cats injury worsened, ca... read more

While our experience with town and country has been good so far one thing has shocked me and kind of put a bad taste in my mouth. We would get the dogs nails trimmed during our visits and make appts every 3 weeks to have them trimmed and they have been priced ok. Well the last time I had the nails trimmed on our dog they charged $57!!! I thought it was a mistake bc the previous time it must have been around 30 something. While I understand everything has gone up in price that price hike just seems unnecessary and more of ... read more

We went there with our senior dog to have her lipomas checked out, and Dr. Bauer's bedside manner and the tech's treatment of our sweet old lady were excellent. Dr. B was compassionate and explained the options well when something potentially bad was found in an x-ray. That was on Saturday. She said someone would call us in Monday (as she won't be in), with the results of her blood work and samples. Nobody called on Monday, so I emailed on Tuesday. No reaction. No reply on Wednesday either, so I emailed again on Thursday req... read more
