We came to Serra Vet hospital because we were recommended to come for my puppy's surgery. We knew it would be a long process but everyone at Serra Hospital made sure we were taken care of. They answered every question we had, they explained the whole process thoroughly, and made sure that we could trust them. My dog went through a very expensive neutering procedure there yesterday, which cost 700+. I chose to neuter my dog at a vet clinic instead of humane society, which will cost significantly less, is because I wanted him to have better care and IV access in emergencies. My husband dropped him off in the morning at 9:00am and picked him up at around 6:00pm. My dog came back with a cone, which was apparently too small for him. Don't fall for the free exam. They have HORRIBLE customer service!!! And the little Dingy receptionist, Is rude and very sarcastic. She looked and acted like she jumped out the movie clueless. Or one of them bimbos getting massacred by Jason in Friday the 13th! Sadly thats who they have taking care of our pupps. They have you sign an agreement stating that I assume and will be responsible for any charges before begging seen for first time customers.( mind you they never saw my dog we were just their to register her to be see... read more

I've only had my dog for a year, and we've had to bring her in like 12 times, hahaha. All the ladies who work there are super awesome! Even after my dog tried to bite them (she's a rescue and doesn't trust people), they're always still so nice to her. When I met the doctor for the first time, I didn't like him at all. But when my dog tore her ACL and needed TPLO surgery, the doctor was AMAZING. We originally took our dog here when she tore her knee and we got a TPLO done here she is all healed now after 3 years and can run like normal again. Their prices are the best around from the research I have done and they genuinely care about your dog, not profits. we even recently took our dog here after she cracked her tooth and needed a tooth extraction. They did an awesome job at a great price and they even cleaned her teeth. All of the team are very nice and very knowledgable!

I am so grateful that Dr. Natt suggested dental xrays for both cats - one cat is 9 and the other is 16. They both had significant dental infections and had to have teeth extracted - I didn't make the connection - the same goes for humans - you can't tell from just visual dental examinations. Dr. Natt went over all the x-rays with me. This procedure I know extended their lives. Dr. Natt and the Team at Serra Are Amazing! We've been going to Serra for years and I love the team and the service we get. We're welcomed with smiles. They know the temperament of both my dog Chloe and me, treat us both with care. We get regular reminders for shots, annual checkups, etc., which is super convenient. Also, the pricing is reasonable (I never feel overcharged, ever!). I highly recommend Serra Veterinary Hospital.

Free exam looks like nothing, sold me very expensive flea medicine for my cat without giving me any heads up for the price (they just tear up the medicine box to show me the instructions without asking me if I'm willing to buy it or not, obviously after the box is broken I can't decline or return) also feel like unprofessional.

Maybe I just came in a a really bad day? The vet didn't even check my puppies temperature and he walked out when he was finished without even telling us..I didn't even get to ask any questions, by the time I looked up he was gone lol and the tech was just like okay all done. We recently moved to this neighborhood and the vet office had a really good review so we gave it a try..but nope I'll just stick to my old vet in Milpitas.
