Our old vet opened a practice in Portola Valley. Because we loved him, we continued to go up there for many years. He retired not to long ago, and I had been dragging my feet to find another vet locally. As it would happen, our cat (Boris) had an emergency dental issue over the weekend, and needed immediate care. I could not thank all the staff enough for today's visit. So professional, so honest, in entire Bay Area it is literally impossible to find such an amazing experience. We brought our puppy that broke his leg 3 weeks ago to change the splinting and do an xray. We were living in hell for the last 3 weeks, starting with local vet to emergency room, to 10 hours waiting in the car for weekly splitting change at other ERs. I am overjoyed to write an overwhelmingly positive and praising review for Serra Veterinary Hospital! My dog Roxxie was not able to clean her teeth and was recommended to get a more detailed exam. Dr. Natt and his team were amazing. They were thorough, attentive, loving and caring. Roxxie was in really bad shape, however, Dr. Natt walked us through the best solution that would not only alleviate her from pain and discomfort, but be in her best health going forward. I do not have enough words to express my gratitude for Serra Veterinary Hospital! They saved our cat, Pancake, after she had an intestinal obstruction, but at a fraction of the price that other vets in our area offered. Pam took the time to respond all of the questions we had, even when we called after hours! Thank you for everything Serra Veterinary!

I rescued a cat and I pay for the plan that they offer which is not cheap kitty plan I paid like almost $400 dollars they told me that that the mat was healthy and that they where supposed to call me when to get the booster shot after a month took a sample of my cat poop and there was this women there whit the worst costumer Service she ask me like 5 times if I already paid when I paid the first time that I was there then I realized that the cat had worms and I call them so this other women told me that I supposed call them ... read more

We got ccl surgery from dr.Natt, he was the cheapest option we found. Unfortunately our dog got mrsa...which isn't his fault(who knows tho the place wasn't that clean (he didn't even have soap in the patient room). He lied to us and acted cocky saying he's dealt with it and could treat it. Later we found out from his wife he never dealt with this before. He gave our dog a medicine that was really really bad for her kidneys(which don't heal) and was insanely expensive. It didn't work and he even mentioned amputation...so we o... read more

We are first time dog owners + rescued a dog so we were expecting a comprehensive relationship with the vet. So, we chose this veterinary hospital because of the great reviews on yelp. Went to Serra two times. first for the initial consultation and then for another health check (and nail trimming). Both times there was limited communication and rushed. Dr Natt performed major dental surgery on my cat and everything he did medically was awesome. The one star knock off is for the COVID situation - pre pandemic was much less rushed and definitely more interactive. I do recommend them if you are looking for an extremely talented vet.

They helped my cat when he decided to eat the artificial tree and choked on it. The staff is friendly and they have same-day appointments for emergencies.
