Your receptionist gave me the wrong explanation for the medicine Dr. Flasik prescribed. I was amazing how she explained to me so firmly when she wasn't a doctor or nurse. I hung up, checked the medicine again, confirmed she was wrong. So I called her let her know that she was wrong. But simply she said "sorry". I think unless you're a doctor or nurse, I don't think they should not explain. I was on the phone at 6:50pm on 6-6-2019 and the receptionist's name start "M". 1st time at Rau for 5month old Rottie. It was his annual visit. Great staff, doctor gave some great tips/advice, and they treated my pup like family. Rau was recommended to us and so far so good.

I like this hospital a lot although this last visit, my cat, Obsidian seemed to have a horrible reaction to the antibiotic and I don't really feel i should've had to pay for the steroid and benadryl she received as a result. She had a fit and vomited and foamed at the mouth 3 separate times that day.
It strikes me that Rau is becoming an assembly-line type office where sales of drugs/dental cleanings and other products are being pushed in place of taking the time to interact with pet owner and pet. Nothing against any of the vets I have seen there. It's just a feeling I get when I'm there.

That being said we don't nor have we ever pushed products or procedures we don't believe are beneficial .
