Informed the testing on Johann would be 30 minutes but it was over an hour. Also, we were given another pet’s pain medication. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It does appear we did a bit of testing and needed to sedate Johann, all of which can take some time, we obviously didn't predict the correct amount of time that it would take to complete. It took an awfully long time between the scheduled appointment and the time Harry was actually seen. I understand that things happen and people get backed up, but it was a long time to sit outside in the car with a nervous dog.

I appreciate that you were there for our dog during the pandemic. I'm only sorry that I was not better able to explain the situation which brought our dog into your offices.

We had a great visit, and you seemed to obviously know what you were doing. I am a first time dog owner, so the social distancing felt particularly hard, and I could have used a little more guidance : bring a stool sample, what to expect, prices for a visit, etc. As well, the conversation with the doc was helpful, but the notes seemed quite generic and didn't reflect what was done (although the invoice did) or what the follow-up steps were (although the prescription directions were fine. You are all great with my dog but getting past the front desk is difficult. I made an appointment on the phone and was asked if I could do 8:00 the next day. I said sure I’ll make sure my child is up early. I got there and no one could find the appointment and here it was for 8pm. I was also told on that phone call I wouldn’t be charged again since my dogs problem had never resolved from the previous visit but then i was charged again!!! Lots of miscommunication with the front desk

We do record all of our calls so easy to go back and find that you were right we definitely didn't confirm am or pm for your appointment and are sorry you came in early for your appointment. We do use a recheck charge when seeing a doctor for the same problem in a 2 month period but we do not use that for technician visits . The care you give is excellent but I have one concern. I saw a charge for medical waste which I have never seen before. This seems excessive in light of the cost of the overall veterinary care that clients need to pay. I work in the medical field too, and also see many other medical providers and have never seen this practice in any of them. I hope you reconsider this practice

Hi Irma, We recently added this charge to help us cover the cost of personal protective equipment we now need to use in order to keep our hospital operating during the current pandemic . I'm sure you can imagine how difficult and costly it is to obtain the equipment we need to keep our clients and staff safe. We are sorry if this causes additional strain on our clients but in order to maintain our standard of care , we feel it is necessary at this time. We expect that this will be a temporary charge.

Thanks for seeing Fletch for his rabies and DHPP vaccines during the coronavirus "stay at home" order, since he was due for his vaccines. We really appreciate all the communication around the appointment, but we're thinking that it's possible that not everyone in your office was communicating with each other. We gave the same information 3-4 times to multiple people, and it became frustrating. We recently had some of our nurses triage the appointments ahead of time to improve the waiting time for the client.
