I was quite satisfied, though a remark about "don't let your puppy eat anything on the floor, like dust bunnies" dis make me a bit uneasy about cleanliness. I know it's an animal hospital, but that means some of the animals are ill and could pass things on to the healthy, especially very young pups.

Neglect and the worst vets imaginable . Never bothered to diagnose my four year old dog with diabetes . Took over 1000 dollars with admittance to their hospital . Did not treat him or diagnose obvious diabetes . Diabetes progressed and he is in critical condition at emergency care . They saw him they are incompetent horrible doctors .
My parents have been with Ray and have always liked the care by Penny's regular veterinary doctor. Unfortunately, I could not be there to hear how terrible they were treated by Dr. Isenstein for myself. I discovered a big swell or bump on her and was told by my parents the following: " Well her bones are just dust at this point." I don't know exactly what, but I noticed a change with Rau Animal Hospital. My experience over past 2 years or so has been stressful and often filled me with anxiety when calling or attending an appointment. During that time, I encountered staff who were often rude and dismissive when I picked up medication, ask questions or arrived for an annual exam with my cat. I stayed with RAU because they provided fairly good care for my pet, but I struggled with how they treated me as an owner/parent. My most recent visits however hav... read more
Everyone's in-person demeanor was helpful and kind and wonderful. I appreciate all of you so much. I liked the person in the parking lot helping people get checked in. (Way easier than calling the office to say "hi, I'm here." and sometimes ending up on hold or forgotten about--both of which have happened to me in the past.)
