Hi Stephanie, If this is the clinic's definition for amending the issue than I don't know what to tell you. Let me explain once again what the issue is. The issue is that to avoid taking responsibility for refusing to provide a follow up the clinic discharged the patient instead, OUT OF SPITE. Let me repeat once again so there is no confusion. We've had our dog here for a couple of years with no issues until these last couple of days. Our pup needed medication from a specialist they recommended and NAH was checking to see if they would be able to fill it. After being led on for days (with pup still suffering infection) various staff was shifting blame from the specialist to their own staff members on their team as to why they cannot refill it. Hi Andrew, We are sorry for the frustration regarding the prescription. As we mentioned, we do not normally fill prescriptions prescribed by another hospital for a few reasons, one being that we are not a pharmacy. We did however accommodate this request by having one of our doctors review the case and approve the medication for you. We have been taking our dogs here since 1970's and have always been happy with their services. It's always been a team of intelligent, highly skilled and caring vets along with a great team of support people. We trust them with the lives of our dogs who are our children!!

Dr Wind and recently retired Dr Wade have taken care of my sweet Ray for the past 7 years. They are thorough, attentive, kind, honest and knowledgeable. Ray's care has involved annual check ups, medical tummy emergencies, skin fungus, elbow sprains, benign tumor removal, tooth extractions and more. I couldn't ask for a better experience EVERY time we've needed care. I would never go anywhere else.

Our 12 year old Poodle/Bijon mix pup, Hugo, was having labored breathing, so my wife and I brought him in first thing this morning. Dr. Wind was short, factual and to the point which is the way I like to have it. She deemed Hugo to be in critical condition, enlarged heart, cardio-myopathy and should be admitted overnight to the "hospital" section of their clinic. Low end estimate $2,500. Dr. Ashbran is truly the most amazing veterinarian my family could have dreamed for... I'm a mom of 2 children and a full-time student with little-to-no money. That being said, I also care for a feral cat (which isn't easy) who recently had a horrible altercation with another animal - to me, it looked dire due to his lethargy and limping. After Dr. Ashbran did a simple check, he found no signs of internal injuries other than a puncture to the cat's paw. We have been with NHAH since Comet was a puppy. They have always been there for us, through COVID and now through Comet's cancer. Comet is almost 10 yo. dr Ashbran is caring, thoughtful and informative. The staff are super. For example, we needed lab data sent to her oncologists before and appointment. When it didnt arrive before Comet's appointment, I called the office and it was emailed to her oncologist in minutes. Thanks NHAH
