Been taking my dog here since he's been a puppy. This place has gone down hill. Last few visit have been a joke and they only seem to care about money.
Kai and Rocci have been visiting NHAH since they were pups, the entire staff is caring, kind and simply amazing.
I had 2 Alaskan malamutes, that Dr. Owen saved their lives, I am forever grateful to Newport animal hospital and would never think of going anywhere else
Dr Wind is an amazing person and a wonderful, caring Veterinarian. She takes her time to evaluate my 13 year old dog to make the best choices for her care. She also listens to my input. I would highly recommend Dr Sarah Wind.
I've never brought my pet to this vet before, but was so thankful to see that they were open at 7am on a Sat. I had to bring my dog in to be Euthanized. I was able to get an appt. Later that morning. The staff was very caring and kind to my dog and I. They provided comfort to me during a dark time and I'm thankful for that.
We do NOT recommend NEWPORT HARBOR ANIMAL HOSPITAL. We hope owners/veterinarians (Chris Bates, DVM, Renee Owen DVM, Mary Sebzda, DVM, etc) who own this business read these reviews. G - - - a at front desk has been mentioned MULTIPLE times as being "rude". We add unprofessional, condescending and non empathetic. First time ever and never come back here. Can't believe after the visit they promised but never email me a receipt until I called in 2 days after. They never tell me they would charge me $28 per kitten for trimming their nails, but they only do the front legs. The back leg they didn't do it. They said they help but after that they charged. When I came in they didn't even tell me what they do. After they look at my kittens for about 2 mins they then came out with 4 papers quoting almost 2k for all the unnecessary service. When I moved from Costa Mesa I started going to another vet near my new house. I realized how much I missed the care at Newport Harbor and came back. My 3 dogs see Dr. Robertson and she is great! She answers all my questions and explains things clearly. Today I was concerned about my foster kitty who was just spayed. I was given some general advice about what to look for and when to bring her in if needed. I really appreciated their help.
