First time ever and never come back here. Can't believe after the visit they promised but never email me a receipt until I called in 2 days after. They never tell me they would charge me $28 per kitten for trimming their nails, but they only do the front legs. The back leg they didn't do it. They said they help but after that they charged. When I moved from Costa Mesa I started going to another vet near my new house. I realized how much I missed the care at Newport Harbor and came back. My 3 dogs see Dr. Robertson and she is great! She answers all my questions and explains things clearly. Today I was concerned about my foster kitty who was just spayed. I was given some general advice about what to look for and when to bring her in if needed. I really appreciated their help.

Leaving Newport Harbor Animal Hospital after 3 years. We love Dr. Akashi and Justin they have been so great taking are of Bam Bam and Baby. However, it is so painful entering the front office receptionist area. On several occasions Amber and Anna have been so rude and unhelpful. I feel I am bothering them when I enter the facility. I have had really good experiences bringing my pets to this office. Both pups recently got their teeth, cleaned and they did a fantastic job. They also flagged a blood pressure issue regarding one of my pups and I am very grateful that I was made aware so I can look into it and determine if he needs medication.

Almost 2 months ago, I had to put down my sweet orange tabby Tony due to kidney disease . He was still very young but I made sure to give him the best life I could . All of his appointments for blood work were with our favorite Dr Akashi. She always did her best to offer the best treatments for my Tony and also made sure he was at a comfortable state. Took my dog in to have ears checked, as he was scratching a lot. Dr Owen biopsied. Yeast discovered. Treated both ears. Exam very thorough. Dr Owen and all staff professional and pleasant. Always feel my dog is well taken care of when consulting NHAH. Thank you All :))

Had to put my elderly cat down and was helped through the process by an extremely kind, caring, sympathetic, and knowledgeable staff. A really painful process was aided by everyone we came across at the clinic and I would highly recommend the hospital for animal care in any level.
