Dr Wind and recently retired Dr Wade have taken care of my sweet Ray for the past 7 years. They are thorough, attentive, kind, honest and knowledgeable. Ray's care has involved annual check ups, medical tummy emergencies, skin fungus, elbow sprains, benign tumor removal, tooth extractions and more. I couldn't ask for a better experience EVERY time we've needed care. I would never go anywhere else.

Our 12 year old Poodle/Bijon mix pup, Hugo, was having labored breathing, so my wife and I brought him in first thing this morning. Dr. Wind was short, factual and to the point which is the way I like to have it. She deemed Hugo to be in critical condition, enlarged heart, cardio-myopathy and should be admitted overnight to the "hospital" section of their clinic. Low end estimate $2,500. Dr. Ashbran is truly the most amazing veterinarian my family could have dreamed for... I'm a mom of 2 children and a full-time student with little-to-no money. That being said, I also care for a feral cat (which isn't easy) who recently had a horrible altercation with another animal - to me, it looked dire due to his lethargy and limping. After Dr. Ashbran did a simple check, he found no signs of internal injuries other than a puncture to the cat's paw. We have been with NHAH since Comet was a puppy. They have always been there for us, through COVID and now through Comet's cancer. Comet is almost 10 yo. dr Ashbran is caring, thoughtful and informative. The staff are super. For example, we needed lab data sent to her oncologists before and appointment. When it didnt arrive before Comet's appointment, I called the office and it was emailed to her oncologist in minutes. Thanks NHAH

Been a client of Newport Harbor Animal hospital for over 20 years. The Vets, front staff, Vet techs and kennel staff are the most professional, caring group of care givers around. Dr. Bates has taken over the care of my 18 yrs old Kati . Her care is a challenge but he has stepped in and provides excellent care. Katie's previous Vet was Dr. Wade, who had taken care of Kati for many years, retired, left Kati in very competent hands. We have been faithful clients of NHAH since the early 1960's. The doctors and staff go above making our dog Mattie feel comfortable and calm during her visits. This has been true for all our pets that have been cared for by NHAH. The staff is very helpful and handle all our dogs needs with professional and friendly care. Been going here for years. Multiple dogs have been treated well. Since the pandemic the quality of service has gone way down. They act like their shit doesn't stink now. They charge more than most and that was fine when the service was great. Not so much now. They recently put me into one of the exams rooms and forgot about me.
