Well I see I'm not the only one who is completely and utterly disgusted with this practice. I gave them a four-star review for sub-par service and care and I was promptly fired as a customer by the practice manager, Gina - who by the way is rude and disrespectful. Pretty amusing since I would never, ever return to this place. NHAH has been so incredible to us! Ever since our pups first (and luckily only!) emergency, they have been an incredible support to us. As our pup is now older dr Osborne has been a great help in trouble shooting hip issues. She is so kind to our rescue pup and the staff is always professional, positive and kind. I love that they have extended hours and you can always text instead of sitting on hold. Their prices are competitive and I would (and do!) recommend them to everyone!

Dr. Ashburn is awesome. He has a 5* staff. Give's Bruin the best care. He truely cares about animals. Highly recommend him to everyone. Hard to find a vet like him. Front desk staff is very friendly.

Some of my favorite vets! I've been coming here for over 30 years. The doctors and staff are very helpful, kind and caring. Keeping my senior dogs happy and healthy. Several of my neighbors takes there pets here too.

Horrible, I called because my dog seemed to have something stuck in his throat and I explained this to the person who picked up the phone said "oh no, we are fully booked and our next availability until Friday" .... Silence. Seriously?!! Like sure I'll have my dog wait until Friday while he has something in his throat. Didn't even bother to refer me to see another vet that could possibly take him. Nothing. Terrible I will never come here again.

We were recommended by a family friend for our sweet Wii-Man and we are glad we found this place. We were seen by Dr.McDaniel who is wonderful. Wii-Man was diagnosed with kidney disease in Feb 2023. He needed weekly SubQ fluids and all the techs and receptionists were always great with him even though he could get snappy. I think any dog would be upset to have to get a big needle in their back and getting poked and prodded every single week. Dr.McDaniel was very good to our Wii-Man. We've been coming to Newport Harbor Animal Hospital for almost 20 years. We started bringing our furry babies when the hospital was in the building that is now Penelopes Parlor. Throughout the years, we've had excellent doctors take care of our dogs and we've also experienced doctors who have been less than friendly. I brought my cat in to be watched for ten days. When I came to pick her up, she had a glob of gum attached to her leg (GUM!) and she had lost THREE of the eleven pounds of which she consisted. On top of that she has several notable marks from which I have no idea from where they came... I am doing everything I can to file a report against this disgusting, irresponsible company. Please take your animals anywhere else I assure you they will receive better treatment.
