I can't recommend Newport Harbor Animal Hospital enough! We have been bringing our puppy here since we got him to do all the vaccinations, etc. and he has received wonderful care. Everyone that works here is so kind. We also day board our puppy here on days we will be working late- he is treated so well by everyone and loves going- his tail is wagging as soon as we pull into the parking lot! It gives us peace of mind that he is being looked after so well while we are at work

Our family has been coming here for 35+ years and they are the best vet clinic. All of the vets are extremely helpful and always take the time to answer all of our many questions. Being able to text the office staff about questions and booking is super nice too. The vet techs are very friendly. We normally see Dr. Ashbran and it is so clear how much he truly cares about our dogs, it means the world to us. He gives them so much love and care and would do it all to make sure they are happy and healthy. Highly recommend.
OK so here's the story... We got a kitten who had some health problems, minor issues... So we took him to one pet hospital (I won't name any names), and they only made the situation worse. I then, in a panic, contacted Newport Harbor animal hospital and they took care of our kitty wonderfully. They took us in when nobody else could, were extremely concerned for our kitten, and took every precaution necessary during these uncertain times. Dr. Ashbran is fantastic! He is caring, compassionate, and extremely thorough. The staff there are wonderful, they are professional, and very caring as well. The facility is top notch- very clean and orderly. We live in Long Beach and switched our vet to Newport Harbor - we will continue to go there, the drive is well worth the care our pets receive! My only regret is that we didn't make the change to Newport Harbor sooner!

This is my 3rd dog coming to NHAH. I would not be able to trust Hannah to anybody else. Dr Ashbran is kind, loving and caring. Dr. Owen I just met; she was skilled, gentle with Hannah keeping her relaxed while preforming her exam; I was grateful as Hannah will be getting many exams in her life as she 10 months old. Simply amazing!! I'm pleased to be with NHAH; I've got a guarantee of excellence and peace of mind when I walk out the door my dog is properly diagnosed and the treatment plan is the best way possible.
This is my friend's vet for her two rescue dogs, but I've been here several times to drop off/pick them up. Giving 4 stars because their check-in process for boarding is incredibly lengthy, even taking up to an hour in the past despite my friend providing all relevant information. While we can all agree that being thorough is important, during one of these check-ins I had to correct an inaccurate zip code and also my contact information - although my friend had already confirmed with their team prior. The hospital was quick to answer and schedule me in for an appointment, I was bringing in my two kittens together for the same symptoms. But They made me schedule a separate appointment for my 2yr old kitten which was two hours later rather than schedule both at the same time. I had informed the staff that both of them got sick at the same time , sharing similar symptoms, from the same source.
