This place was amazing for my sweet puppy Shelly. The staff is all very attentive and communicative in the best way. Dr Clifton really loves what she does and handles all her patients with care. It's great. If you are nearby this should def be your go to vet.

NHAH has been my vet for 20 years and took amazing care of my 2 previous dogs from adoption to crossing the rainbow bridge, for health, boarding and daycare. Just took my new boy in for his checkup and shots. Dr. Ashbran and the vet techs gave him such gentle, loving care. All the staff are patient, kind and compassionate. Best vet in OC - and beyond!

I just wanted to say that yet again my appreciation for this Vet office is beyond words.. My story is a long one and the situation was extremely difficult, but I can wholeheartedly say that all of the doctors that I've encountered at this office have not only been super professional but unbelievably kind. I had a panic attack because I found a stray dog in pretty rough condition. I can't recommend Newport Harbor Animal Hospital enough! We have been bringing our puppy here since we got him to do all the vaccinations, etc. and he has received wonderful care. Everyone that works here is so kind. We also day board our puppy here on days we will be working late- he is treated so well by everyone and loves going- his tail is wagging as soon as we pull into the parking lot! It gives us peace of mind that he is being looked after so well while we are at work

Our family has been coming here for 35+ years and they are the best vet clinic. All of the vets are extremely helpful and always take the time to answer all of our many questions. Being able to text the office staff about questions and booking is super nice too. The vet techs are very friendly. We normally see Dr. Ashbran and it is so clear how much he truly cares about our dogs, it means the world to us. He gives them so much love and care and would do it all to make sure they are happy and healthy. Highly recommend.
OK so here's the story... We got a kitten who had some health problems, minor issues... So we took him to one pet hospital (I won't name any names), and they only made the situation worse. I then, in a panic, contacted Newport Harbor animal hospital and they took care of our kitty wonderfully. They took us in when nobody else could, were extremely concerned for our kitten, and took every precaution necessary during these uncertain times. Dr. Ashbran is fantastic! He is caring, compassionate, and extremely thorough. The staff there are wonderful, they are professional, and very caring as well. The facility is top notch- very clean and orderly. We live in Long Beach and switched our vet to Newport Harbor - we will continue to go there, the drive is well worth the care our pets receive! My only regret is that we didn't make the change to Newport Harbor sooner!
