Wouldn't trust any other place with my pets. Dr. G is our go to for my kitty who gets sick often due to his compromised immune system. She's always thorough with his exams and goes the extra mile to make sure he's comfortable. The front desk staff are out of this world amazing. So friendly and kind, and we're all on a first name basis. This place is so smoothly run, not like chaotic other animal hospitals that make you wait 3+ hours. When we go here we feel like family. Love these people!
5 Stars for Dr. Renee Owen. Compassionate, knowledgeable (Diplomate), meticulous, and simply the best ever. There are a number of vets in the practice which makes for convenient hours and 7-day/week service. I go back three sets of owners (1981), and while I felt more comfortable with the last owners (probably because I had known them for 30 years), as long as Dr. Owen remains there, we will continue to schlep our 4 cats (all howling on the 45-minute car ride) to see her.
My five month old golden retriever puppy is currently suffering from a severe infection all over her leg because of Newport Harbor animal Hospital. When I first brought her there for her vaccines not only did they not keep a record of the docs things that she got but they skipped a vaccine and because then it was shot into her with another vaccine she got a severe reaction on her back leg from Matt. Dr Renee Owen is the best veterinarian we have found. She takes great care of our older sheltie and our younger cattle dog/border collie mix. She is very thorough and goes over all your options before you make a decision. She has gone thru great lengths to diagnose our shelties problems. Also the rest of the staff is also awesome at this hospital. They always take care of your needs with a smile! They are all knowledgeable about what you need. We have been using this vet for over 40 years and absolutely would not go anywhere else. We have also been rescuing labs that long and these vets are caring, compassionate, personable and professional. The staff is also great to work with and knows all our family by first name. They are terrific vets and I sincerely believe have saved the lives of a few of our rescues. This place is amazing! I rave to everyone about the staff and care they give here. I brought my dog in an emergency to get stitches, called them on my way there and as soon as I arrived they brought her back. They even trimmed her nails for free while she was with them. I left feeling super prepared to care for her at home after I talked to the vet and was walked through how to give her all of her medications! Dr. Nicole was excellent with my boy, Zamboni! He's a cranky kitty and doesn't usually take well to being handled but she was so gentle and sweet I'll definitely be seeing her regularly for Zambo's needs. She was very helpful and informative. As for the hospital itself it is very clean and beautiful inside. Everyone is very warm and friendly!
I will never take my fur babies anywhere else but this place. The Drs and the staff is amazing and very helpful. They saved the life of my baby after irvine valley hospital wanted to put her down. I will forever be grateful to this hospital. They work with you financially and they do a great job treating and caring for your fur babies. Thank you NHAH for all your great work!
