I've been coming here for about 3.5 years or so and have always had a good experience. They're always nice at the front desk, the vets are nice and let you call for quick advice when you need it. I've tried other vets, but always come back here because they've been the best and I trust them more than others I've found. 10/0.

Such a gem. We live in LA and drive to this location because it's that good. We had a scare a few months ago with our 13.5 year old Golden Retriever, Lucy. They got us in right away, while every other emergency vet had a 3-5 hour wait. They were so gentle and sweet with her. Now we go there regularly. After every one of Lucy's labs, Dr. Bates gives a very comprehensive and understandable review of what's going on and a reasonable treatment plan. Newport Harbor Anaheim Hospital saved our 13 yr dogs life, without them we would have lost a beloved member of our family. To say that my husband and I are grateful does not reflect the level of absolute thankfulness to have the Dr.'s and staff available 7 days a week! Thank goodness for Newport Harbor Animal Hospital, Dr. M. Sebzda and the wonderful staff, both at the front and in the back. I have been breeding Maine Coon Cats for over 30 years. Dr. Sebzda is the best resource I could ever hope for. She's an expert in reproductive issues for dogs and cats. I drive 85 miles from San Diego for my cats to see her and I do it often, traffic or not and I do it happily. I have only had a few vets in my life but honestly I have not had many medical staff (human or animal) go out of their way as much as the staff here. They are some of the most caring and professional people I've met and they have gone the distance for me and my dog since day 1. I really appreciate what they do and a special nod to Dr. Sebzda who really has helped me learn a lot of my dog.

This hospital was recommended to me when we got our new puppy. I was unable to ever get established with the specific veterinarian that I was actually referred to as they have many and you get who is available, so I just went with it. We pretty much saw a different doctor each time not allowing a relationship to establish, so we were just another dog and owner. They were friendly on the phone and at the desk most every time. Mary Sebdza DVM has been the vet of choice for Magnadolz Ragdolls for over 6 years. Not only is she brilliant with reproduction issues,, but, kind, loves my cats (and my son). Even with the new procedures due to the COVID-19, I trust her, and the staff at Newport Animal Hospitals implicitly. They're worth the drive!

I can't begin to express my gratitude to the entire staff at this hospital. Last night we had to put to rest our family dog of the past 10 years. Dr. Shae and the whole team were so sensitive and patient with us. The information we were given about our dogs illness and options were so helpful and we felt very respected with whatever decision we were offered. There is no reason to take your beloved pet anywhere else other than Newport Harbor Animal Hospital. Everyone there treats the pets like they are a member of their happy family! From getting your pet's nails trimmed to undergoing a surgical procedure, they will let you know exactly what is happening at that moment. It might be on paper, or if it is a procedure a phone call during it, and a phone call after from the doctor to let you know what needs to happen post procedure.
