Dr. Sepsic is the worst doctor. Not only does she not listen, she over diagnosis for issues that are not related to the symptoms. Furthermore, she is quick to recommend a workup that cost $1000's of dollars. When I asked for her records and exam findings in writing they are incomplete and do not support her recommendations. For instance, if she is requesting to check a CXR to look for lung congestion there should also be exam findings to support this. I was referred to this animal hospital and to Dr. Ashbran for our new rescue Golden Retriever. This place is so organized and on top of things. I was really so impressed my first visit last week. We had another dog about 5 years ago but haven't had one since and I did not like the vet we had chosen at all. This is by far the best veterinarian hospitality I have ever been too and Dr. Ashbran was so kind, helpful, and willing to listen to all my questions! Plus he explained everything to me to so well! The first experience wasn't great but after today I will not trust them again unless something changes. The first time it was unable to find a record of her weight (we had been there weeks before), unable to get info from our primary vet (we called later and they said they sent it to them immediately as they do to all other vets), and full 24+ hour delays on responses after being given call back times. I brought my dog into this vet after 2 other vets failed her. Appointments are readily available and Dr. Wind was extremely thorough and diagnosed my dog's issue. She was the first of the 3 vets she went to that not only looked at my dogs problem eye, but also the "healthy eye". While, unfortunately my dog needed her eye removed, she was able to fit her in quickly and do a fantastic job. She also found issue with the other eye which is now being medicated to aid. I've been coming here for about 3.5 years or so and have always had a good experience. They're always nice at the front desk, the vets are nice and let you call for quick advice when you need it. I've tried other vets, but always come back here because they've been the best and I trust them more than others I've found. 10/0.

Such a gem. We live in LA and drive to this location because it's that good. We had a scare a few months ago with our 13.5 year old Golden Retriever, Lucy. They got us in right away, while every other emergency vet had a 3-5 hour wait. They were so gentle and sweet with her. Now we go there regularly. After every one of Lucy's labs, Dr. Bates gives a very comprehensive and understandable review of what's going on and a reasonable treatment plan. Newport Harbor Anaheim Hospital saved our 13 yr dogs life, without them we would have lost a beloved member of our family. To say that my husband and I are grateful does not reflect the level of absolute thankfulness to have the Dr.'s and staff available 7 days a week! Thank goodness for Newport Harbor Animal Hospital, Dr. M. Sebzda and the wonderful staff, both at the front and in the back. I have been breeding Maine Coon Cats for over 30 years. Dr. Sebzda is the best resource I could ever hope for. She's an expert in reproductive issues for dogs and cats. I drive 85 miles from San Diego for my cats to see her and I do it often, traffic or not and I do it happily. I have only had a few vets in my life but honestly I have not had many medical staff (human or animal) go out of their way as much as the staff here. They are some of the most caring and professional people I've met and they have gone the distance for me and my dog since day 1. I really appreciate what they do and a special nod to Dr. Sebzda who really has helped me learn a lot of my dog.
