All the staff is amazing. All my critters just loves everyone. Dr Bates has been wonderful and they follow up with you really well. One of my bulldogs would go to family animal hospital and every time we get out of car or when his name be called to go back to a room he be petrified. For what ever reason he's just scared going to other vet but sense I have switched he looks forward to going each time. We love going . Everyone is amazing.

Newport Harbor Animal Hospital was the 3rd vet I called at approx 3:30 pm this afternoon. Our silly (but very naughty!) pug ate a jar of hair pomade- which contained some toxic ingredients and caused multiple episodes of vomiting & could possibly lead to pancreatitis. They were the only ones who told me to come straight in. I was greeted by a front desk receptionist as Hugo was taken to the back for evaluation by Dr. Sarah Wind. This has to be the best vet I've ever been to! Not only are they completely affordable but the accommodations are top notch! I've had cats my entire life but this is the first time I've had to administer medication to my 14yr old. Dr Nicole G. has called me every time I've had questions and I receive professional and caring advise any time I need it from front office help. I highly recommend this to fur baby owners!
Do NOT use Newport Harbor Animal Hospital on Mesa Dr. Took my cat there for cat fight injuries, he was going to be sedated so they could clean the wound. When I picked him up they had cut all his nails as short as possible! Leaving my outside cat unable to defend himself! When I called and asked why they cut his nails, they said "he scratched our employee". When my dog Akira became very sick I was scared of the inevitable trip to the vet and how difficult it may be to get her better. I was able to make an appointment that day and saw a doctor and nurse who, you could tell, love animals. They could tell she was scared and uncomfortable so they let her smell all of the instruments and kept petting her to make her feel better. This is such a great facility, with an amazing staff! We decided to produce a litter with our bull terrier. To do so, I researched and called several vets throughout Orange County. Newport Harbor Animal Hospital immediately seemed like the most competent, capable, and caring facility. So, when our girl began her heat we made an immediate appointment with Dr. Sebzda. I've been coming here for about two years and have not been impressed with their services. I've seen multiple vets here and none went above and beyond for my dog and his issues, they would just try to sell me on fancy, expensive food to try to cater to his issues. But, after seeing a new vet at another office in Irvine, they diagnosed my dog in one visit, treated him, and he's never been better.
