Dr. Sebzda and the staff at Newport Harbor Animal Hospital have become part of the family in guiding our French Bulldog to motherhood. Very professional as well as forming personal connections. Prompt and thorough test results, advice, and answers to our questions. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic place! The staff is incredibly friendly and it's obvious how much each of them loves animals and the place they work. I am a very paranoid dog mom and have felt very safe and reassured leaving my dog here for day boarding. On his first vet exam (which I wasn't present for) the vet caught a problem on my dog that I forgot to mention in his notes and immediately called me with all the information I needed, as well as prescribed all necessary medication to treat the issue. I've been meaning to write a review for a long time. This is by far the best hospital hands down. Dr. Herrera well now Dr.Owen is the best doctor by far. And the staff is beyond amazing. We've been going to this location for over 20 years now. They treat my baby Boo . For me the prices are reasonable. I mean this is a place of business and they do have to make money. Took my kitty here for a bladder infection! Dr Wind was so loving, caring, knowledgeable and had exceptional follow up when labs came back. I even got a thank you card after our visit! (what!?) Loved them and look forward to taking my animals back here.

I wish I could give this horrible place 0 stars; what a nightmare! My dogs were boarded here while I was sick for one week. During that time, my dog sustained a horrible wound on her foot that was NOT treated after spending $500.00 there. When I picked up my dogs from my girlfriend who picked them up from the facility, my dogs paw was inflamed, infected, sensitive to the touch and oozing out puss. If an animal ever appears to be injured we always advise the owner at the first signs so that we can figure out what the issue is and address it. However, if the exam is declined then we are not able to examine the pet. We are happy to hear that your pet received care to treat the paw and wish you both a speedy recovery.
Not unfamiliar with NHAH - since my parents used them for my childhood pets. Its been over a decade since we have had a need for a vet - we adopted a sweet 5mth old kitten - Albus Gryffindor - for my husband's birthday. We went in knowing he had been resistant to the meds for feline URI and knew that needs monitoring and he'd been neutered recently so on top of shots/flea&worm meds he had blood wrk done & fecal sample ect.... All the staff is amazing. All my critters just loves everyone. Dr Bates has been wonderful and they follow up with you really well. One of my bulldogs would go to family animal hospital and every time we get out of car or when his name be called to go back to a room he be petrified. For what ever reason he's just scared going to other vet but sense I have switched he looks forward to going each time. We love going . Everyone is amazing.

Hi Dr. Mary...it's me Oreo. Today is my REBIRTHDAY...!!!! It was one year ago today you met me. I was very sick that day when you diagnosed me having Pyometra. That day you operated on me and saved my life. Thank you so much because my dad always says that I've had the best year of my life these past 12 months.
