Five stars for Hickory Vet! My bulldog puppy was bitten by an off-leash dog and needed drains and stitches. The team was incredibly helpful, fast, and effective. The employees were all very sweet, and I highly recommend them for their compassionate and professional care.

we took our cat harry to hickory vet and specialty hospital, & they were absolutely wonderful!!!!!! he literally had a bladder that was going to burst if we did not receive quick action! we saw the doctor very quickly & in a very short time, he presented us with options. Staff very nice and helpful. Doctor who saw my dog on an emergency explained everything well and was very helpful. My dog can be very reactive and the staff handled him well. I appreciate the work they did with him, and how nice they were to me while I was there.

From the moment I made my cat Buster's appointment at Hickory Veterinary & Specialty Hospital the staff was extremely courteous, helpful & friendly. Buster was examined by & had an echocardiogram with Dr. Cecilia Helinski, DVM. Jenna the veterinary technician was very pleasant & explained everything that was going to happen during Buster's appointment. We have a beligan melinois and she has epilepsy..We had to rush the dog to the ER Vet bc of seizures...So they recommend that we take her the neurologist..So we decided to take her to Hickory vet...in Plymouth Meeting PA...when I called they staff was friendly and helpful...and understand my concerns...So when we took her to the appointment they staff was friendly and we didn't have to wait long..maybe 10 minutes in the waiting room...We went back into the room and the dr. didn't take long to come and see us...He went over e... read more

I'm so grateful to have found Hickory. After a particularly rough year for my pups, we may have seen every doctor here at this point, including the behaviorist, ophthalmologist, oncologist, surgeons and everyone in between. Every single one of them has been so knowledgeable and so patient and gentle with my anxious dogs. I have never sat in the waiting room more than 5 minutes and I've never felt rushed through an appointment. We have three purebred cats (Havana Browns) and we trust this Veterinary Hospital to give them top-notch care. We specifically use Mara Guth who exudes confidence and authenticity. She is detailed in her exam and is methodical in her approach but she does not raise undo concern. She has always been supported by super nice and caring assistants. I even boarded him for a weekend once. The facility is clean and the staff is engaging. I don't make a ton of money and I have always been able to pay out of pocket for his vaccination and check ups.
