Get directionsGreat Vet for emergency and primary care. Have been taking both of my dogs here for a few years for both primary care and a handful of emergencies and I can't recommend them enough. They are attentive, treat things with urgency and the doctors take time to explain everything to you.
Had a wonderful experience at this office. In no way was I pressured to spend some crazy amount of money. Dr. Neil knew exactly was she thought was best for my dog and didn't want us to spend any money that wasn't necessary. (Even when my primary wanted it done). Everyone was super nice from the first phone call, to the visit, and leaving. We now have scheduled surgery with them!
Staff is compassionate yet professional. Excellent diagnostic provided so that Sir Spencer received the best care for the condition.. Dr. Guth is an excellent practitioner. She listens to the symptoms we saw and suggested a path forward. I feel very confident in her recommendation. Excellent diagnosis and recommendation.

Thank you for this awesome five star review. John has been with Hickory for many years and is great with all the pets that come in for their exams. Dr Mara Guth has been a great addition to Hickory and has taught for many of us the ways of the feline personalities. We look forward to providing many more years of care for your feline friends
Every time I go to Hickory, I always feel as though the staff gives us excellent care. Everyone at the front desk is so helpful and friendly. Dr Guth, Dr Kay, and Dr Dinardo are awesome and clearly care about me and my pets. I truly appreciate the entire staff and all of the services they have given me and my pets over the years.
All of the staff were personable and professional. The facilities and location are also nice.
My ginger kitty, Zekie, age 8, has a heart condition and we see Dr.Helenski once a year. She is wonderful and everyone at Hickory is kind and caring. I'm so grateful to everyone there for taking such good care of us.
Five stars for Hickory Vet! My bulldog puppy was bitten by an off-leash dog and needed drains and stitches. The team was incredibly helpful, fast, and effective. The employees were all very sweet, and I highly recommend them for their compassionate and professional care.

Staff very nice and helpful. Doctor who saw my dog on an emergency explained everything well and was very helpful. My dog can be very reactive and the staff handled him well. I appreciate the work they did with him, and how nice they were to me while I was there.
