I brought my dog in for a wart on her butt, that was bleeding. We waited over 40 minutes just to be seen by the veterinarian despite not being busy. We ended up paying over $200 just to get a rabies vaccine and a sample of the bump, only to be told that she would require general anesthesia along with a slew of all of these other issues she had... because she is an old dog. It felt like a sales scheme to try to rack up as many procedures as possible. She is a 13 year old dog and we went in to take care of just one thing that ... read more

Thank you for your feedback, Erin! We understand that a lot of information was discussed at Pippy's visit, so we are here to discuss the concerns you have with the next steps. Our goal is to identify and prioritize concerns with you during your initial exam, even those unexpected. Doctor's recommendation to explore the severity of her other diagnoses is to ensure safe anesthesia can be performed for your initial concern. Please do not hesitate to reach out directly for any additional follow-up!

Made an appointment to bring my 2 cats for their yearly checkup since it looked like a super nice facility and close to where we live. When we got there we waited 30 minutes (it wasn't busy) before the assistant came into the room, and quoted me over $800 for the exams, bloodwork, and a few vaccines. They're AAHA accredited but i still can't justify paying those absurd prices for the most basic things that would've been half the price anywhere else. Unfortunately we will be going elsewhere

The staff is polite but that's the only positive thing to note. Took my two cats for wellness exams and vaccines. Our initial estimate for care was over 800 dollars. I expressed my concern about price and was able to adjust the estimate to about 400 dollars. I left spending almost 900 dollars. This establishment claims to be transparent about pricing but the staff constantly added more things to my bill without consulting me about price! Using my concern for my animals to squeeze more money from my pocket. Not to mention onc... read more

At first I liked this office... The reception you get coming in is great. And nice treats for the animals as well. But they did a skin scrape on my dogs tail to check for mites when I already told them what was going on. Stud tail. I know he has this problem and had previously had it treated at Red Barn. (Just wanted to find a vet I could make appointments for as you can not at the other place) He did not have mites and I already knew that from a previous vet visit. They scraped his tail so bad that the hair is still not gro... read more

Stalked about a bill I had paid with a Visa Card obviously was a breakdown in front office communication . I'm self employed so I guess they felt well ask her to reschedule without notice? My masters degree always serves me more than who it is intended to help. I told her no one is looking for me about any bill . I had just spent 509.00 at Blue Pearl that Sunday. When you work 39 years for the railroad it's impossible to be broke and that was before my masters in cognitive psychology. Over priced racist and we both are arrog... read more

I chose Eastown Veterinary Clinic because it's conveniently located by my husband's work. I am a quadriplegic and my husband brings my service dog to the vet for me. I had an appointment scheduled recently at 11:30 AM. My husband was prompt to the appointment as he always is and brought my service dog to Eastown Veterinary Clinic at 11:10 AM. The receptionist told him that he was late and he would have to reschedule the appointment. She claimed that appointment was set for 11 AM. Maybe I made a mistake with the time, but I a... read more

I did not have a great experience here. It was very pricey compared to other vet clinics, which made me think the care of my animal was going to be worth the money... although it wasn't. They had tested my dog's fecal to only tell me over and over again that she was positive for worms even after hundreds of dollars worth of treatment and medication and no symptoms of infection. I felt something was off when the vet tech's couldn't explain anything over the phone so I went to a new vet where they ran multiple tests and found ... read more

They're nice, my cat went in for a simple spay surgery after being a client with them. She received an infection in surgery and the dr.'s wouldn't take the blame. I had her for less than 24hrs and she already had an infection post surgery. I had to go take her back there twice for them to just clean her up and do nothing. They act as if you know everything in the world of veterinary medicine. I ended up taking my cat somewhere else and she's finally healing after a week of complications cause by the awful vet at Eastown Vete... read more

I wish I felt better about this vet I've been going to this vet for several years. At the beginning, it seemed like a very great place that was new and friendly, but I've had more problems the more my dog has been seen here. My dog is 16, and has had several seasonal allergy issues with her skin and paws. Every year it gets worse and worse, and with each visit, she gets at least three vaccine shots and boosters along with medication. The medicine works to mask the issues, but the symptoms come right back, with more vaccines... read more
