We just took our two year old Dog (Cookie) here for an emergency visit because she had a allergic reaction to something unknown to us. They were so quick and helpful and got her back right away while also helping us check in and get all the paperwork done. I am a very protective doggie mom so I was nervous to go somewhere I've never been before but this place was so wonderful with our girl and fairly cheap considering it was an emergency visit at 3am. I have a regular vet for my dog but came here for an emergency on a Sunday. To be honest the building is not impressive. Older, inside and out. Kind of smelly. None of that mattered to me once we were done with our visit. I was pleased with the front desk staff and the vet and vet tech. Dr Nguyen made me actually want to change vets to him because he was just so easy to talk to and nice and normal. it was actually cheaper than I thought it would be. I 100% recommend this place

I have not had a pet treated by a vet at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital, but my husband and I received great customer service from the staff for a stray cat we found (or so we thought). We called CPAH on Sunday night because we wanted to see if they could check for a microchip, and check the health, for a cat who had been trying to get in our house (and had visited multiple times before). I had an excellent experience here! Dr. Tango and the staff took amazing care of my pups! I really trust them. Not only that, but they are very reasonably priced and offer a military discount. I've referred them to several people who were extremely happy with their experience as well! Highly recommend!!

This is not our regular vet, but we came here in the middle of the night for an emergency. It's one of the few 24 hour vets and they do not charge an after hours surcharge. So if you say wanted to bring your pet in for a routine physical, you could do so in the middle of the night and it would be the same price as during the day! We were seen fairly quickly, and the vet was very nice and walked us through our situation. I moved to the area over a year ago and driving to my dog's previous vet was too far. Had a scare where my dog was pooping and vomiting excessively so I called crying. They calmed me down to monitor him and helped with an appointment in the morning which saved me money from an "emergency" visit. Doctor was super friendly and knowledgeable and provided options. We have used Town and Country Animal Hospital in Fairfax for over 10 years. We have never needed emergency service but one our beagles developed some frightening issues late on a Friday night. I remembered that their sister hospital on Columbia Pike is 24 hrs. So I called around 11:30 pm. First, after giving my name they pulled up our pets records immediately. I've had excellent care for my cats here. One of my cats had an eye problem and they correctly diagnosed it as related to high blood pressure which they successfully treated. They were gentle and caring. I've had other pets treated there and always have had excellent service and care of my pets. I always get called later to see how my pet is doing after anything more than just a routine physical. Dr Shauna Waite has been particularly helpful and follows up.
