It's a pleasure to take my animals here. Everyone is so pleasant . We saw Dr. Nguyen this time and he was lovely! He was so sweet with my dog, informative, friendly and humorous.

I've had excellent care for my cats here. One of my cats had an eye problem and they correctly diagnosed it as related to high blood pressure which they successfully treated. They were gentle and caring. I've had other pets treated there and always have had excellent service and care of my pets. I always get called later to see how my pet is doing after anything more than just a routine physical. Dr Shauna Waite has been particularly helpful and follows up.

As a veterinary assistant with over three years of experience working in animal hospitals, I can confidently say that Dr. Oleg Khomutets demonstrated a concerning lack of competence and professionalism. It felt as though profit was prioritized over patient care, particularly when dealing with elderly clients who may not fully understand medical decisions. Their veterinarians may be okay, but the receptionists and all client-facing employees are horrific and basically illiterate.

Reading other peoples comments here breaks my heart. My heart was broken when my baby was injured being seen... and crushed when he passed away. I would love to join hands with others and all paw parents who wish this place would close down and a new more professional establishment for pet care would open. (NEW DOCTORS, owners, and STAFF) I can't speak for all, but for myself and few I know, we just want answers as to WHAT HAPPENED. I went to Columbia Pike Animal Hospital in 2023, with my cat about his ears, the first doctor lied saying she examined him, when she did not, my cat would not come out of his carrier, just lies. I returned Saturday 11/29/25 out of pure desperation , worrried about my cat. The doctor was this short lady , I think her name is Niharika Verma, that is what's on my paperwork. This was, without question, one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had at a veterinary clinic. The staff's attitude was shockingly unprofessional--cold, dismissive, and at times outright disrespectful, especially the so called supervisor. It felt like they couldn't be bothered to do the most basic part of their job: treat clients with decency. THIS WAS TAKEN DOWN ONCE, PLEASE READ: I am posting this once again, still recovering from this heartbreak. This place is not an animal hospital, nor do they care for the pets that come in for practice. They are money hungry, they do not have any empathy for the pets, and they are not well practiced vets. Against my better judgement, I brought my cat in for bloody vomiting-- paid $2000.00 for testing and was told my cat was fine. 48 hours later he died due to heart failure and a diffuse mass in his abdomen. I want Columbia Pike Animal hospital to explain to me why they told me my cat was fine - when he wasn't- and to refund the $2000.00. NO ONE AT THIS VEY OFFICE WILL EXPLAIN THIS TO ME.
