I've had excellent care for my cats here. One of my cats had an eye problem and they correctly diagnosed it as related to high blood pressure which they successfully treated. They were gentle and caring. I've had other pets treated there and always have had excellent service and care of my pets. I always get called later to see how my pet is doing after anything more than just a routine physical. Dr Shauna Waite has been particularly helpful and follows up.

Where to begin! We love Columbia Pike Animal Hospital! The vets take the time to get to know you and your pet; they know pets are family members. Dr. Barnett and Dr. Waite saved my dogs life and are so sweet to check in on her. They're responsive. You can always walk in or get a quick appointment. Prices are extremely reasonable. Vet techs are friendly! Front office staff are friendly and always efficient. They don't think I'm crazy when I bring my fur babies in for every little thing. My 20 year old cat was having some issues, not life threatening, but definitely needed to be seen on Sunday. Dr Nishi was very knowledgeable and had a kind disposition, a top notch vet. If CPAH was a little closer, I would consider using them for regular check ups. I do appreciate they do not charge a premium for their urgent care services.

Want to reiterate what a great experience I have had with this hospital. Dr. Davis Hall is the best vet I have ever worked with. He is very common sense and really cares about the animals, not just the charges. Really appreciate his long experience and practice decisions.

THIS WAS TAKEN DOWN ONCE, PLEASE READ: I am posting this once again, still recovering from this heartbreak. This place is not an animal hospital, nor do they care for the pets that come in for practice. They are money hungry, they do not have any empathy for the pets, and they are not well practiced vets. Against my better judgement, I brought my cat in for bloody vomiting-- paid $2000.00 for testing and was told my cat was fine. 48 hours later he died due to heart failure and a diffuse mass in his abdomen. I want Columbia Pike Animal hospital to explain to me why they told me my cat was fine - when he wasn't- and to refund the $2000.00. NO ONE AT THIS VEY OFFICE WILL EXPLAIN THIS TO ME. I was very disappointed with my recent visit to this clinic. Dr. Oleg Khomutets seemed more focused on pushing expensive procedures than on actually reviewing my pet's medical history or considering practical next steps. Despite my concerns, there was little effort to discuss alternative treatment options, and he was eager in giving me no choices than going for those costly procedures. Review of Columbia Pike Animal Hospital - Annandale Location I normally don't write reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so that others are aware. On June 2, 2025, I brought in an injured stray cat who was bleeding from his back legs. I paid the exam fee and trusted the staff and Dr. Chad Nishi to provide the right care. Run. First off unprofessional. I wasnt trying to judge but most of them have nose rings. I looked past that. The starting doctor was great saw my cat had a heart murmur and took time to get a second opinion and suggested to do an NG instead of regular IV to flush kidneys i gave the approval.
