Unfortunately the care has declined at this establishment, my cat was tentatively diagnosed with asthma back in October and put through several different treatment plans and when they couldn't figure out what was causing her symptoms, they referred her to a specialist and dusted their hands, I have spent thousands on the recommendations of the doctors here. I took my dog in for an ear issue, in which it was determined that he needed to have a small procedure done. The procedure was $500, and I was told to bring him back weekly for 3 check-ups, wherein the check-ups were included in invoice. Took him back week 1 (no charge), week 2 (no charge) and week 3 ($100). I explained that the check-ups were supposed to be free based on instructions I got after surgery. Another clinic that's all about the $$$$$ before actually helping animals. I called as I was given a script for tick meds after my dog had the worst kind seen engorging on her (I want to be sick)...ran to vets they did not carry nexgard and told me to go to another vet or store but most stores or chewy require MAIL in which is ridiculous in 2024....I need the tick meds now! I called around and ended up calling Columbia pike who refused to fill the script or sell me the box unless I get a 'exam' with their vet. SERIOUSLY??... read more

They are sick people especially Tom the manager. My heart breaks for how they treated my daughter and our dog. His health is declining so fast after his recent visit. And to hear Tom speak to my daughter in such a disrespectful way is unacceptable. She wants answers and she rightfully deserves it. My daughter is crying daily. Now I want answers too

DESPICABLE. Brought my 15yr old dog in. Girl nurse and guy vet thin (probably on drugs) choked my dog; I had a witness thank god. Gave me one option to "tap" but he might die. Didn't listen to my concerns. Contacted the hospital back 4x to get answers to what happened to my dog when they "took my baby back for an exam" Got no answers. Besides we can try to tap but he most likely will die. I did NOT SPEND 10k and 15yrs loving and caring for my baby to take him to a VET to CHOKE HIM. Not give me answers. If I could give zero stars I would. I had to get my puppy spayed and ended up choosing this place, wish I could change that now. Firstly, I will say it seems as though the surgery went well, but we shall see (the surgery was yesterday). My pup has separation anxiety and I dropped her off around 7am. The appointment was under my boyfriends name and he was unavailable that day so I was "in charge" and needed to handle everything. if you want to pay double the price go here!!!!! they charged me 560 to drain my dog ear hematoma it came back with 24hrs then they wanted 1100 for surgery I went to life care pet hospital in Chantilly and paid 530 dollars with medication included!!!!!!!!! they charged to drain the price it cost for surger!! doooooo not go here unless you want to get ripped off

Bad communication and customer service. Withholds deposits after changing their own appointment times. They care about money more than your pet. If they can't get the basic things right, do not trust them with your pet! I've been going to vets for 20 years and never had such a poor initial experience.

After multiple failed attempts at meeting with the hospital administrator/director to express my grievances, now the whole internet can hear them. My first couple experiences at this hospital were pleasant. One mild emergency and some routine. Then the more serious cases occurred.
