Bad communication and customer service. Withholds deposits after changing their own appointment times. They care about money more than your pet. If they can't get the basic things right, do not trust them with your pet! I've been going to vets for 20 years and never had such a poor initial experience.

After multiple failed attempts at meeting with the hospital administrator/director to express my grievances, now the whole internet can hear them. My first couple experiences at this hospital were pleasant. One mild emergency and some routine. Then the more serious cases occurred. I lost my cat after a mouth tumor had grown too large to do anything about considering her heart issues. I first brought my cat in a year before because of her lack of appetite, thinking back on the issue, something must have been present then and... read more

Negative stars. The Vet Doc not only rushed my visit but asked the amount of money I had in my account that I could pay and then charged me close to the amount I said for my dog's random prescription. The person/doc rushed every conversation, didn't seem like he was listening to my reports of my dog, and definitely had zero empathy to me, my dog, or my dog's health concerns. All I was asked was how much money I have and charged me exactly that for a random prescription which was ineffective. Shame on this Doctor and ... read more

I took a sample of my dog's stool in for a fecal test. I dropped it off and paid for it. About 20mins after I left I got a phone call saying I was charged for blood work as-well. At the time I didn't think it was a big deal. I told the receptionist to just keep it as credit for when my dog gets spade I can use it towards the blood work then. Later when it was time for the procedure they now said they won't credit me for it because "it was too late, I was suppose to get it done within a month." Now they blamed it on me ... read more

Do not bring your pet here. I also encourage to report them if you have had a bad experience here so something is done to protect other pets and pet owners.. You can report this vet clinic at https://www.aavsb.org/contact-us/ The vets do not communicate with you and instead send the techs to explain things to you. When you ask to see the doctor you are told you'll be charged more. I am left Wondering why on earth would I be charged more for talking to the doctor that I brought him to see.??? I left having paid close to ... read more

What a difference an individual vet makes. I had SUCH a mixed experience here. The reception staff and vets techs were all great. But here's what happened. I took my dog into urgent care early in the morning for what I thought were fleas but turned out to be baby ticks (GAH). The vet - who I will call vet 1 - was hostile from the moment she walked in and didn't take me seriously. I showed her what was on my dog (little black flecks) and she dismissed it by saying she wasn't an entomologist and couldn't help me. I explained ... read more

There are a few gems at this hospital like Natasha, one of the nurses who took care of my cat at night during her 3 night, 3 day emergency stay, and Drs Kirchart and Flynn who performed her abdominal ultrasound and exploratory surgery/biopsy on my cat so we could get to the root of her GI issues. However, this hospital has some serious shortcomings that make it impossible to rate it more than one star. Throughout my cats stay as well as her post-departure care I attempted to contact vets to discuss results, check on status... read more
