Provided excellent care for my kitty who was developing an infection on some broken nails. I paid about $130 for an antibiotic shot that will last 2 weeks and the cone of shame. The cone was $30, so if your pet need one and you're trying to keep to a tight budget it might be worth finding one online or in a pet store, it's nothing special as far as I can tell. Came here for my first time last night for urgent care with my doggy who was super itchy. Turns out he had a bad ear infection. Dr. Nishi was so kind and accommodating even over the phone per COVID safety measures. He took the time to really explain what was going on with my pup and how I should give his medicine. The check in process was easy. When you arrive, call and someone will come out to get your pet and bring them in. I had a great experience with Dr. Clinton and the emergency vet services here. After having pets for almost 20 years in this area I can't believe that I hadn't heard of them before. I came to CPAH when my dog's spay incision came open and my regular vet was unable to see her. I got there and was taken care of immediately by the front desk and then seen very quickly by a vet tech. After about ten minutes Dr. Clinton came out and presented me with a few different options. My dog has anxiety about the vet. She is a rescue and now 6 years old. I have been taking her to a vet in Fairfax, but took her into Columbia pike animal hospital on a Sunday for her paw(she scraped it or was stung) because my vet isn't open. 1. The front desk staff is incredible!! professional, friendly, and genuinely interested in what I was saying. 2. The techs are 2nd to none! My dog loved the tech right away and didn't shy away. 3. Unfortunately last week I had to take a dog I was looking after to urgent care for a foreign object in the eye (just a speck of dirt). We headed to Columbia Pike Animal Hospital - this isn't our regular (non-emergency) vet - but it was nearly midnight and CPAH is just a couple miles from our home so off we went. The pup wasn't letting us remove the debris ourselves and we didn't want to risk damaging the eye since we aren't pros. Thank you so much for the unconditional support, kindness and care you showed my dog Bella and me. From the first phone call with Ari, support from Olivia (Pharmacy), the prompt attention from the whole front desk and medical care from Dr. Gallagher you turned a potential medical crisis into something positive. I was turned away from several other animal hospitals when all I needed was Insulin for my 11 year old Maltipoo. I will never forget today. Thank you with all my heart.
