Get directionsCame here for my first time last night for urgent care with my doggy who was super itchy. Turns out he had a bad ear infection. Dr. Nishi was so kind and accommodating even over the phone per COVID safety measures. He took the time to really explain what was going on with my pup and how I should give his medicine. The check in process was easy. When you arrive, call and someone will come out to get your pet and bring them in. I was so sad he had to go In without me, but the man who came out to get him Clifford was so nice ... read more
I had a great experience with Dr. Clinton and the emergency vet services here. After having pets for almost 20 years in this area I can't believe that I hadn't heard of them before. I came to CPAH when my dog's spay incision came open and my regular vet was unable to see her. I got there and was taken care of immediately by the front desk and then seen very quickly by a vet tech. After about ten minutes Dr. Clinton came out and presented me with a few different options. I asked her what she recommended and gave her the g... read more
My dog has anxiety about the vet. She is a rescue and now 6 years old. I have been taking her to a vet in Fairfax, but took her into Columbia pike animal hospital on a Sunday for her paw(she scraped it or was stung) because my vet isn't open. 1. The front desk staff is incredible!! professional, friendly, and genuinely interested in what I was saying. 2. The techs are 2nd to none! My dog loved the tech right away and didn't shy away. 3. Dr. Flynn is the best vet I have ever been too! ((((((Dr. Flynn))))))!! What a wonderful ... read more
Unfortunately last week I had to take a dog I was looking after to urgent care for a foreign object in the eye (just a speck of dirt). We headed to Columbia Pike Animal Hospital - this isn't our regular (non-emergency) vet - but it was nearly midnight and CPAH is just a couple miles from our home so off we went. The pup wasn't letting us remove the debris ourselves and we didn't want to risk damaging the eye since we aren't pros. First afterhours vet visit of my life, I was seeing nothing but gigantic dollar signs as we dr... read more
Thank you so much for the unconditional support, kindness and care you showed my dog Bella and me. From the first phone call with Ari, support from Olivia (Pharmacy), the prompt attention from the whole front desk and medical care from Dr. Gallagher you turned a potential medical crisis into something positive. I was turned away from several other animal hospitals when all I needed was Insulin for my 11 year old Maltipoo. I will never forget today. Thank you with all my heart.
Two words describe Columbia Pike Animal Hospital: Community and Family. During our dog's Ebony illness and eventual demise, Columbia Pike Animal Hospital became part of our family. They took amazing compassionate care of Ebony and little things do count: From the prayer offered by Dr. Reed Hall after euthanizing Ebony; to the thoughtful, caring and authoritative good advice Dr. Tango provided us throughout the process; and to the hospital's attitude that the "bills were secondary" to taking care of our family. When we... read more
I wouldn't go anywhere else! Dr. Reed Hall is wonderful and truly understands his patients.
Very pleased with all the staff and doctors ! Definitely coming back for any thing my fur buddy gets into!!
I went to Columbia Pike Animal Hospital after being triaged away from Friendship Hospital for Animals. My pup had swallowed a treat without properly digesting it and I knew something wasn't right. Where Friendship hospital turned me away, Columbia came to my 17-week old puppy's rescue. They did an X-ray and over the next 12 hours monitored the situation with me. They include a free follow up X-ray within 24 hours and when the 2nd one showed issues, they referred me to South Paws who they knew could do the type of endoscopy/... read more
