Get directionsI have been coming to you guys since 2013 or 2012 and this is the first time I felt completely awful I made a decision to bring my dog for examination. The service I was provided by Laura Fink was terrible. I specifically asked for Dr. Jones or Tango, and I got Laura fink who didn't even ask anything of the symptoms my dog was having and just told me my dog looks ok??? Really? And over the phone? Other doctors were coming out and talking to their patients in the lobby and she just called me and told me that my dog my need bl... read more
I felt like I didn't need to pay nearly as much as I did because my cat was misdiagnosed as healthy two days before her condition got worse. I get it, bacterial infections can be hard to see sometimes, but the solution should never be throwing pain killers at a pet owner who's experienced something like this in the past with the same pet. The fact that I had to go back 2 days later and was charged for a procedure that was 100% avoidable if she was treated when I originally brought her in is outrageous. As a pet owner, I was ... read more
I had an odd experience here. The front desk staff were kind, welcoming, friendly. There was minimal communication from the vet tech who took my dog into the back during her urgent care visit. I attempted to provide a history in the reason for her visit, and was not aware that my brief interaction with the tech would be my only chance to provide information. Dr. Shaughnessy reviewed discharge information with me but was curt and stared at me with a deadpan expression when I asked why my dog was being prescribed a specific me... read more
took my dog in since he's been vomiting all day, went @9pm, didn't even get a call that he was ready to be seen until 1am.... i had taken him to another vet by the time they even called to say he's next in line. WHEN THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE LOBBY!!!! had him checked out by another vet in DC! very expensive, but worth it!
We have been coming to this hospital for decades. And with our beloved Clover they misdiagnosed and missed the mass in his lower stomach area and pinched nerve in his neck, he was crying in pain and pretty old. We had to medically euthanize him and I am still saddened by his passing. After today we'll no longer be apart of this hospital.
This hospital caused the death of my dog! Bunch of incompetent, careless people Went there 3 times in one night, I was refused help twice. Awful staff and inadequate service.
They've jacked ip the price of a nail trim again..in only a couple months!! Ive been coming here monthly for 10 years, where a nail trim cost $18. It's now $30, as much as a human pedicure!!! Called Annandale Petco, they do it for $10- gurss I know ehere I'm going from now on.
If I could give a negative number, I would. My daughter took her healthy kitten in to be neutered. The tech injected him and left. When the doc showed up to do the surgery, several minutes later, he was dead. THEN w/o any communication decided to revive him and do the surgery anyway. Too long w/o oxygen... he started seizing as soon as he started coming to. THEN they ODed him with phenobarbital! TWICE the amount recommended. I'm disgusted. The tech should go: the doc should go.
Dr.? Samantha Chang, Columbia Pike Emergency Animal Hospital In early July we took our pet cat to the Clinic, due to her excessive vomiting. She was seen by you and diagnosed with fluid around her lungs, and you prescribed heart medication and requested a follow up visit in two weeks. We were unable to get an appointment within the two weeks period and, due to the serious nature of our pet's condition, we struggled with the effort to get an earlier appointment, as you had recommended. That visit costs us $973.00 Dr.? Chan... read more
