This place is the worst, keep your pet as far away from here as possible. My husband and I took our cat in on a Friday but Sunday they was saying she was dying and said we need to put her to sleep. The did a procedure Saturday, told us we could pick her up Saturday night, by Sunday she was so weak we took her back. The Doctor told us she was suffering and needed to be put to sleep. They ran some test, and still to this day no one has called. But they made sure to get all our money. I will be filing a claim with BBB today. I ... read more

The service here is horrible. I went here this morning as my pet has issue the whole night with his back legs and butt. When the doctor talked to me - no mask. Very impatient -

Long wait but very helpful when my kitty stepped on an electric stove. Explained everything very well by the vet on site. $135 for the visit not including antibiotics and pain meds.

I'm shocked to see so many negative reviews. It certainly seems that everyone expectations and experiences are different here. But my experience was fantastic. My dog got suddenly sick on the morning of New Year's Eve. Whining, crying, howling, vomiting, freaking out, etc. My regular vet was closed. We called the emergency vet right by our house- at capacity. Called another emergency vet- at capacity. I have been taking my pets to this hospital for years! Something like 25 years! The service is now horrible! They don't do chart reviews. I placed a request with the visit to have my dog's nails trimmed, and they made an excuse that he's too nervous! I have paid my last pet visit to this bad pet service here! DON'T take your pet there unless you want to pay for services you don't get!

I have taken my dogs and cats to Columbia Pike Animal hospital for over 20 years...vets included Davis Hall. The founder; Reid Hall, Candice Flynn and Dr Kirchart. In all cases the advice and care have been exceptional. Yes, when you have a animal that needs special treatment, it is not inexpensive. But their prices are not any different than other vets. I can't recommend this place. They have a serious shortage of vets. I was there for 5 hours. In fairness they told me they are a triage hospital and take the most serious pet situations first which I understand. However, 5 hours is ridiculous and there were people there waiting even longer than me. I was told I could leave with my pet and would get an email with her results in two hours which never occurred. I called at 6am in the morning and was on hold for 10 minutes before I got to a doctor. I called back at 230 to inquir... read more

My, how things have drastically changed here. Have been a client for 2 dogs and 11 puppies over a 20 year time span. What used to be a friendly, efficient place is now a factory. My "appt" in Aug took over 4 hours and it was to obtain one vaccine needed to board my dog (at a new facility since Columbia no longer has any boarding services) The long wait was attributed to coming out of Covid. ? Let's start with customer service. First, the take staff could not careless why your are there and trusting this business with your four-legged family member. The are brash, and pay zero attention -- for the and the business it seems to be a numbers in, numbers out, and pay your bill now! Second, paying the bill. It was a 20 minute wait after arriving, and it literally took about 8 minutes for two shots and a nail trim. AND THEN ANOTHER 20 MINUTES WAITING TO PAY THE BILL!! WHY????
