I took my dog (Echo) to Columbia Pike Animal Hospital and it took EIGHT days to diagnose, with an ultrasound, a blockage in her small intestine. My dog suffered for days before the diagnosis that emergency surgery was necessary. She was admitted two different times during this eight day wait. Both times, I authorized an ultrasound and nail clipping and both times I told the dr. that she eats EVERTHING.. Both times, CPAH DID NOT DO THE ULTRASOUND or nail clipping. My dog had not eaten for the entire time. They gave her ... read more

Red flags from my initial call for an appointment and after the appointment. Called to schedule an appointment and asked for a particular vet and got scheduled. Found out 2 days before had that they scheduled me for the wrong vet. Then Key sent me an email ask for his vet records. I sent an email with a couple questions back about what should I bring to the appointment (think poo) and had another question. It's been a couple weeks and still no response. Got to the appointment and it was quick and rushed. Kevin the vet tech w... read more

This place is completely incompetent and is the reason my dog unnecessarily suffered for months. I visited on an emergency basis, they are less than 3 miles from my house, and my dog started bleeding down her legs on our after work walk. I was too panicked to drive to our regular vet during rush hour. I wish I could go back in time and do so. Due to COVID, I had to wait in the parking lot for hours. When my dog was finally seen, I was then told that I had to collect a urine sample from her. Having never had to do this befor... read more

Do not trust your animals with Dr. Wong. My cat, who has a previous history of heart failure, was presented to the ER vet with breathing issues. Dr. Wong took in Simon and did an ultrasound on his chest, finding fluid in his lungs and chest--consistent with him returning to a state of heart failure. Just a few minutes after examining him, Dr. Wong told me I had two options: undergo extensive testing on Simon costing $2500 (xrays, echo, bloodwork etc) or put him to sleep. She would not even consider keeping him overnight an... read more

The customer service was horrible. Especially management. I asked for them and they weren't able to cooperate instead they hung up the phone on their own will despite having an unsatisfied customer. If your pet is in need run to another hospital, you'll save yourself a lot of time

This place is not only incompetent, they are inhumane, IMO. I explained to the doctor over phone that my dog had thrown up METAL WIRE, and that we had taken them to the vet before and the vet hadn't done a CT scan (despite my urging), and that after leaving, the next day (without having gone outside at all) he threw up MORE metal wire that had still been stuck in his stomach. And I explained that my dog wasn't eating/drinking. I also explained that cost was not issue, I would pay whatever amount of money they needed, I just... read more

I came here when my new kitten (adopted literally one week prior to the visit) had a small seizure. It was terrifying, and all I could think of was my best friend growing up who had a kitten start seizing then soon died. So, I was super upset and scared. The midnight Vet- Dr Mary something was nice at first, and gave me the options- draw blood, stay the night for observation. This was the first time I'd ever been to a vet, and wanted to understand the options/price. I had JUST got this cat, my first ever. The full treatment... read more

I have been bringing my dogs and cats here for 7 years and have always had been treated fairly well even though you seriously still have to advocate for your pet if you feel like something is wrong. I called to cancel an appointment and ask that my dog was taken out of the system as deceased because he had passed away last week (after being seen there and got a clean bill of health which couldn't have been less true) a few days prior. Upon this request the person I talked to said "is that all?" And all I could try to say wa... read more
