I sat for hours to see the DR. And when I was describing my pup's symptoms, one, reverse sneezing in her face, she proceeded to ignore that and treat him for stomach issues! Clearly, he is having upper airway issues, and I am a Respiratory Therapist! How sway! He has become worse throughout today. I told from the BEGINNING, I don't live here! So I called, the receptionist told me to watch him a few days! Why? When I can go back being it's been 24hours since I left. She proceeded to put me on hold and sent me to VM. And they ... read more

Took our Labrador in three times to both locations over the holiday weekend. All three visits were made better because of the awesome staff at both locations. The triage nurses, vets, and administrators were all extraordinarily compassionate and caring to our dog and to our family. The care was just what we had hoped for and they politely explained our care options. It's horrible having to take your pet to an ER, but the care our pet received at Animal ER Care was outstanding at every turn. The facility is very clean and wel... read more

Business response:

Very nice staff and saw us quickly. Our dog was sick and needed to be admitted for 3.5 days. The vet called us at least twice a day with status updates and answered all our questions. Everyone was friendly and empathetic. Highly recommend this vet ER to anyone who is looking for emergent care for their pets.

Business response:

Thank you for your kind endorsement, we are happy we could be there for you and your fur baby. We wish your baby a swift recovery.

10/23/22 My dog was vomiting (food, water, bile) unsteady, and seemed to be not able to rest, with some labored breathing. I was at this ER Care at 4pm on a today (Sunday). I filled out a form and they did come out to take my dog's vitals. 3hrs later we still had not been seen and we were not the only ones, another dog (and owners) left to go somewhere else after 3+ hrs. I realize it is a triage situation, but it is the weekend when normal vets are closed, so if you are an ER you need to hire more vets so that dogs who need ... read more

Business response:

We hope your dog is feeling better and glad your regular vet was able to get you in. We do understand how longer wait time can be frustrating, and we have increased both doctor and support staff steadily to meet the growing needs of our comminty. As our current practice is at physical capacity we have been working diligently on a 2nd location, which is now open, daily from 8am-6pm. As we can find additional ER dedicated staff we will work to have this option available 24 hours as well.

10/7 around 9 pm...I was at er because of my penny. from time to time I meet people who's personality's matches with what they look like. her name is Jennifer working at ER front desk. No compassion, no kindness, no integrity, no quality as human being, no morals, no principles... top of that no looks....all goes so well together. I must give her 5 star. She should keep it up. This is kind people working at er care. This is my experience.

Business response:

Thank you for your kind review. We hope Penny is feeling better!

These people deserve 10 stars not 5. On Sunday, Labor Day weekend my 80 year old aunt woke to find her little dog had died in the night. This little guy was her best friend and constant companion. Most of the rest of her family including her last remaining brother and sister had recently passed. My aunt no longer drives but wanted her friend to be cremated. I was willing to bring the dog to whoever would respectfully take care of him. I called everyone listed locally on the Internet with no luck (being a holiday weekend). ... read more

Horribly long wait times for sick animals unless they show up 90% dead. It's sad to say that, but true. It's also a horrible sight to see if you have to wait because you will see crying people the whole time. I waited here for 9 hours in my car with a dog leaking diarrhea and had a UTI. Had to drive an hour to get here because no other vets are accepting animals. I only give them 4 stars because they were friendly and actually accepted my companion. It's also very EXPENSIVE so beware.

Business response:

Thank you for your honest review and gracious rating. We are happy to see our staff were kind during your visit.

Very frustrating visit with them. I went in because my dogs ears and mouth and neck were swelling and did not improve with multiple doses of Benadryl. When I went the triage person came and looked at her and said that we would have to wait and wasn't sure what the wait time would be. I asked if we could go home and wait if it was gonna be a while. I was told if the wait is under 5 hours that we would need to stay. I proceed to wait in my car for 5 hours calling only 3 times just to check in as my dogs swelling was getting wo... read more

We were deeply saddened to hear of your phone interaction with one of our staff; this is not reflected of who we are and, we can confidently say, not the norm for our outstanding team. If you're open to providing more details to allow us to provide coaching, please reach out to our Practice Director, Kayla, at ClientSupport@animalERcare.com.

Do not take your pet here if it's a true emergency. On top of their very rude employees, they are cruel to the animals, forcing them in tiny cages with no food, water or even human companionship for HOURS before even being seen. I was constantly told that we were next....next....next. After five hours I finally left and took my baby to another ER where the doc said he would have died if I waited any longer. These people should not be trusted. Ever.

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. We completely understand how extended wait times can be frustrating and it is our aim to keep every client updated as those wait times change. We would like to provide coaching to our staff and if you would be willing to provide more information about your visits please reach out to our Practice Manager, Cassidy, at ClientSupport@animalERcare.com.
