Get directionsTook our Labrador in three times to both locations over the holiday weekend. All three visits were made better because of the awesome staff at both locations. The triage nurses, vets, and administrators were all extraordinarily compassionate and caring to our dog and to our family. The care was just what we had hoped for and they politely explained our care options. It's horrible having to take your pet to an ER, but the care our pet received at Animal ER Care was outstanding at every turn. The facility is very clean and wel... read more
Very nice staff and saw us quickly. Our dog was sick and needed to be admitted for 3.5 days. The vet called us at least twice a day with status updates and answered all our questions. Everyone was friendly and empathetic. Highly recommend this vet ER to anyone who is looking for emergent care for their pets.
10/23/22 My dog was vomiting (food, water, bile) unsteady, and seemed to be not able to rest, with some labored breathing. I was at this ER Care at 4pm on a today (Sunday). I filled out a form and they did come out to take my dog's vitals. 3hrs later we still had not been seen and we were not the only ones, another dog (and owners) left to go somewhere else after 3+ hrs. I realize it is a triage situation, but it is the weekend when normal vets are closed, so if you are an ER you need to hire more vets so that dogs who need ... read more
10/7 around 9 pm...I was at er because of my penny. from time to time I meet people who's personality's matches with what they look like. her name is Jennifer working at ER front desk. No compassion, no kindness, no integrity, no quality as human being, no morals, no principles... top of that no looks....all goes so well together. I must give her 5 star. She should keep it up. This is kind people working at er care. This is my experience.
These people deserve 10 stars not 5. On Sunday, Labor Day weekend my 80 year old aunt woke to find her little dog had died in the night. This little guy was her best friend and constant companion. Most of the rest of her family including her last remaining brother and sister had recently passed. My aunt no longer drives but wanted her friend to be cremated. I was willing to bring the dog to whoever would respectfully take care of him. I called everyone listed locally on the Internet with no luck (being a holiday weekend). ... read more
Horribly long wait times for sick animals unless they show up 90% dead. It's sad to say that, but true. It's also a horrible sight to see if you have to wait because you will see crying people the whole time. I waited here for 9 hours in my car with a dog leaking diarrhea and had a UTI. Had to drive an hour to get here because no other vets are accepting animals. I only give them 4 stars because they were friendly and actually accepted my companion. It's also very EXPENSIVE so beware.
Very frustrating visit with them. I went in because my dogs ears and mouth and neck were swelling and did not improve with multiple doses of Benadryl. When I went the triage person came and looked at her and said that we would have to wait and wasn't sure what the wait time would be. I asked if we could go home and wait if it was gonna be a while. I was told if the wait is under 5 hours that we would need to stay. I proceed to wait in my car for 5 hours calling only 3 times just to check in as my dogs swelling was getting wo... read more
Do not take your pet here if it's a true emergency. On top of their very rude employees, they are cruel to the animals, forcing them in tiny cages with no food, water or even human companionship for HOURS before even being seen. I was constantly told that we were next....next....next. After five hours I finally left and took my baby to another ER where the doc said he would have died if I waited any longer. These people should not be trusted. Ever.
Took our boy in last night after finding him unresponsive and dizzy. The "techs" said they were 100% sure that the dog was high on THC, even though there was no way he got into anything like that. Took him home and after watching him for a while, he threw up a big rotten piece of fish. This kind of practice is dangerous and instead of easily treating my dog, they could have made home worse
