Get directionsIt's a very long drive for me, but worth it, because this is the best Animal ER in El Paso County. Although he wasn't there when I brought in Cooper's Hawk, he's been there for previous babies. I'd love to praise Raymond Romero. He is the best tech in the world. Much love! Everything is great when I need to bring a baby to the ER.
would be lower if I had a way to post it. 5 hour wait for Vet with a bleeding dog. Totally unacceptable. If you need care make sure your pet is young enough to live to be seen. Emergency care is a joke at this place.
Last month we unexpectedly had to take Sadie to see the emergency vet. This was our first time at an ER vet before so I was a complete mess & terrified with what was coming ahead of us. The moment I walked in the staff took great care of both of us. Sadie ended up passing, but I felt so at ease with the treatment she was given & the effort that was put in to try to make her better. Sadie was loved by her family for many many years & her last hours were spent very comfortably. The staff was so compassionate and even sat on th... read more
They took great care of my Raven, our kitten, during a terrible accident she was in. We knew it was going to be expensive so we set our expectations accordingly. After our first meet with the attending vet the night of the accident we felt so much more comfortable. When the finance guy came in - we were aware of the two cumbersome amounts that it could be for the 12 hour stay vs the 24 hour stay. $1000 more, from the already $2000 projection for just the 12 hour stay. When I was reviewing the quote it stated 3L of IV Saline ... read more
Do NOT GO HERE This place is absolutely ridiculous. My pup was having intense stomach pains and not eating for 3 days and this was the first place we stopped. They gave her an ultrasound , came up with some numbers and told me it would be $531 I didn't have that in my pocket so they decided we needed to leave,(a male vet told us quote " we only have 2 options at this point and that is to euthanize or relinquish" ) HE SAID THIS ABOUT MY CHILD INSTEAD OF HELPING US....as we were walking out I was told the outstanding price of ... read more
I was very pleased with the level of care we all received. Everyone was helpful and considerate. I'd shout out everyone that I worked with on Tuesday if I could. From the moment I walked in the door and started crying at the lady at the front desk, she soothed me and got things rolling. (She was so sweet and helpful to everyone I saw her with.) The doctor was so kind and smart. She made sure I knew what was going on and explained things so thoroughly. She really calmed me. The tech also took the time to show me how to give m... read more
I had to take my elderly cat in after she suffered a stroke. My regular vet was full and recommended Animal ER care. I was so impressed by their compassion. Every person who helped me was very caring and courteous. We did have to say goodbye, but they made everything as painless as possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone with emergency pet issues.
The initial vet examination fee here is $180!!!!! for context that is $30 more than the emergency vet on Uintah. When I took my dog in she was "urgent" but not "emergent" so they said it would be 8-9 HOURS of a wait. Just... what on earth are they doing over here...???
From the moment I walked in the door until the moment I left, these people were the most compassionate, caring, understanding, patient, wonderful human beings, I have ever seen. I walked in a complete, crying mess, and they were so understanding. The vet, Dr. Hess, was a Godsend. After a quality of life exam, I had to put my 17-year-old cat down, and it was heartbreaking. They were so kind through the entire process. They gave my son a stuffed cat. I felt the price was reasonable, much lower than I had anticipated. I cannot ... read more
