Before typing the first letter of this review, I'm in tears. I'm struggling with this duality of a shattered heart that keeps putting each piece back where it came from. Shattered by the utter loss of my soul pup, Lulu; pieces mending themselves through the sheer force of my faith in humans being restored through the actions of each and every staff member that makes up this AERC office. Lu's breed (pug) is most Veterinary Office's worst nightmare when they arrive panting. Details of her symptoms and ultimate breaking point a... read more

I took my five and a half month old golden retriever puppy, Parker, to Animal ER Care because he was having loose stools and vomiting to the point where he could not keep any food down. It was a weekend, so my regular vet was not open. The staff at Animal ER care were amazing! They were so kind and Parker loved them. Even though he had to have some unpleasant tests done, he still loved the staff. The facility is very nice and even had a TV in the room with Netflix to watch while I waited. The staff were very up front with co... read more

Horrible experience here. Gave them two tries and after spending close to 2400 dollars left with no diagnosis. They definitely do not seem to care about the pets themselves, didn't even receive a check up call to make sure my dog was doing ok.

I am so thankful for this place and believe they saved my dog, Murphy's life. I noticed my dog was shivering yesterday and was also suffering from Kennel cough. He had an appointment on this upcoming Tuesday to see his regular vet at Cheyenne Animal Hospital, but after a quick call they told me I should take him to the ER due to possible fever and pneumonia. They recommended Animal ER Care and so glad they did. When I arrived, we were quickly greeted by the triage nurse and took us around back to get us in a room and to be i... read more

Their triage system needs some work. If your pet is labeled a non-urgent case you will continuously be bumped. If my pet is labeled non-urgent the business should extend the courtesy of informing me and allowing me to decide whether to wait 4+ hours. I'm not convinced that the employee making the triage determination had adequate qualifications. My vet office advised me that my situation could be urgent and to seek care sooner than later. I provided records which were not available to the veterinarian.

Staff was friendly; but don't even consider taking a loved pet here. We had three walk-in pets ahead of us, but all of us were passed over continuously for other vet transfers and "more" emergency patients. Finally, after waiting nearly five hours, we were shown to a room, and then ignored for another half hour. it was obvious they were never going to actually look at our dog, so we left. Fortunately, he made it through the night. We were told repetitively they're the only clinic serving Southern Colorado, so we suggest they... read more

I am so livid. My parent's dog received truly negligent care here yesterday. They told my dad they had no idea what was wrong and that nothing could be done and they wouldn't even treat our dog's pain. Was seen by another vet today at 9am, come to find out he has a huge abscess under his very swollen tongue and is in excruciating pain and is immediately being admitted to the ICU. After 10 years of coming here, I will never ever ever bring my pets here again. I'm truly horrified at how bad and careless these doctors are.

I sat for hours to see the DR. And when I was describing my pup's symptoms, one, reverse sneezing in her face, she proceeded to ignore that and treat him for stomach issues! Clearly, he is having upper airway issues, and I am a Respiratory Therapist! How sway! He has become worse throughout today. I told from the BEGINNING, I don't live here! So I called, the receptionist told me to watch him a few days! Why? When I can go back being it's been 24hours since I left. She proceeded to put me on hold and sent me to VM. And they ... read more
