Get directionsthis place had us jumping through hoops to get answers for our dog. first we bring our puppy into the vet and were told "dogs just get a little pukey" I think his name was brian or something the dude with the long beard and wore a jean jacket. he then turned us away and made us feel bad because our dog wasn't on her death bed. we then had to bring her back the following morning cause she still couldn't keep anything down. so I guess it takes over 24 hours of dehydration and no food to get your dog seen. then they do X-rays a... read more

I cannot say enough about the staff. They were fast and efficient and I believe did everything cost-effectively to help our baby. The veterinarian on duty was nothing short of amazing. I can't remember her name but it was Saturday evening 2/1/25 Veterinarian and the triage nurse. Both were absolutely incredible, comforting and helpful. Cannot say enough about the doctor on duty. She was amazing. The staff was incredible. I felt at ease and did not feel taken advantage of.

Took pup in for non-stop vomiting and appearance of pain over a 6 hour period. Seen by Dr. Keller who suggested pup had gastroenteritis , needed fluids and antiemetics only. Recommended I avoid xray or labs, as "probably waste of money" She stayed dogs vitals normal, recommended conserative care. My concerns that dog appeared to be in pain were minimalized by her exam, " she is not that tender" I proceeded with recommended care. Went home and dog CONTINUED to vomit and cry in pain. 2 hours later when family vet, opened, pup ... read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I went there early December with my dog who (according to my vet) was in respiratory distress. The staff didn't even take his vitals. He had clear bloating due to mitral valve disease and was breathing very rapidly. I was told "he is uncomfortable, but fine and there's nothing we can do here". I said "Should we go see our regular vet or is this normal?" And was told that there wasn't much they could do. My dog died three weeks later. WTF is the point of an animal hospital that can't help my dog?

Animal ER Care quite literally saved our boy's life! Our 1yr old Irish Wolfhound came down with pneumonia, and his health was deteriorating so quickly, we didn't know if he'd make it. The entire team was so compassionate and so knowledgeable, I can't recommend them or thank them enough!
These people are very caring and very efficient. Clean facility and expert experience!
Business response:

Thanks to all the staff at Animal ER! From front desk guy, Chris's, calm demeanor helped us to keep from freaking out. Dr. Dixon showed such care & compassion along with expertise in detecting and treating our pup's issue! We're very grateful to her for getting our furiend back to her healthy self. Definitely 5star rating!

Thank you for entrusting us with your pup's care; we'll pass your thoughtful comments on to Dr. Dixon and Chris!
Everyone was very kind and caring for both Leo and myself. Everyone I came in contact with, and there was a lot, was so nice and so many wanted to take him home. Even though he isn't doing well at all, they did their best and we are thankful to everyone there.
Thank you for examining my hedgie and helping diagnose his issue! So thankful for a vet/practice that sees exotic pets. The bottle of water/snacks/refreshments was a nice surprise and very comforting during a stressful time. Also enjoyed the ability to scan a QR code and fill out paperwork online. Staff and Vet were very professional and kind.
