My husband took our dog there this long weekend on Sunday as his suture site from mast cell tumor had completely opened up. He waited for a couple of hours and a vet tech gave him some guaze with cleaner on it. Told him to keep it clean and see vet on Tuesday. Today, My Grand champion show dog is now in surgery for emergency closure and antibiotics.

Staff communicates well, seems very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. From the first communication to release of my dog I felt confident that he was in good hands and received excellent care. I was visiting from out of town and was lucky to find Animal ER Care. Due to covid the wait was a little long but to be expected considering everything going on with new protocols for intake and the examination. Highly recommend.

I wasn't even going to complain too much until I received the $54.22 bill for not seeing my puppy. But, after the interesting conversation I already had with the facility, I feel that it's my duty to let the public know before I contact my attorney. We arrived on Friday evening at 11pm with a sick pup (didn't eat dinner and started vomiting at 10pm followed by diarrhea). STAY AWAY FROM DR. BECKER. She is a "know it all" and will not listen to your input after giving a half-assed look at your dog. She also decided to say something useful, then pretend she never said it when she realized I was in agreement with her. This is NOT someone who should be in medicine. I feel bad for anyone she's encountered in the past. I've come to this clinic more times than I can count and spent TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS HERE. I've been here multiple times and I just cannot say enough about the care of this place. With Covid in place they are doing curbside. The staff was incredible. They kept me updated and Dr. Thielman called multiple times with updates on my dog. Elizabeth was also wonderful and explained everything to me before we took our baby home and answered all of my questions. Thank you again to the amazing staff and care you provide!

This is a must read review for any animal lover and pet owner in Colorado Springs. 2 weeks ago I had to take my Cockashon Yoshi to the ER over on Powers. He had a violent reaction to the pain med Rovera administered after Cherry Eye surgery a few days earlier. The tech that came out to my car to help was fantastic. I was very upset and panicky and she did such a good job speaking gently and being very kind. I have taken my animal here before and was just as impressed with the facility and care. Thank you for being one of the,sadly, few practices that are still professional.

They have no feelings for animals only the bottom line. When asked to give my dog an IV they stated it would be $1000. They did absolutely nothing even though I agreed to move heaven and earth for my dog. They claim to have paid for services on my behalf when it should have been part of an initial exam. They wanted to kill my dog because I couldn't cover the upfront cost immediately. They are a butcher shop.

Me and my boyfriend brought his puppy here after he got into rat poison and a tub of cocoa powder. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were quick to get him back to the room to begin treatment. They were also very honest with his well being and pricing. They have awesome payment options and truly care about the animals. The tech even sent us some pictures of our baby in the ICU (we had to leave him overnight).
