We took our dog into Animal ER Care N. Nevada because he had been hit by a car. He had massive lacerations of his back left hind quarter and couldn't walk. Dr. McArdell was the doctor who examined my dog, and she ordered x-rays only for his back legs and abdomen. He was diagnosed with a hip dislocation and was treated for hip lacerations with over 30 stitches. If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my dog in just around 6:30 PM with a deep gash in his ear that was bleeding! By 2 AM, we were still waiting to be seen. When I arrived I was told it would be about 2 hours. Around 8:30 PM, I was told we were next, but nothing happened. I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received at this Animal ER. My pet's emergency situation was handled extremely poorly, and I felt like the doctor and staff was extremely judgmental. I went here for complications from my dog's surgery and they didn't really address what we went in for. The communication from the staff was very unclear. She called me a liar and they refused to give my dying dog pain meds so that I could say goodbye. This place took my goodbye from me!!! Tonight was the 4th time I have brought my dog to Animal ER Care over the last year or so and I have nothing but great things to say! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS ER! I drove my Yorkie to Animal ER Care yesterday as my Yorkie was having her puppy. The puppy was halfway out and she appeared to be having difficulty pushing him out. I arrived at the ER and asked if they would help me. If I could leave a review less than 0 stars, I absolutely would. do not come here unless you want to be waiting for a fraction of your day. They only had 1 vet in the clinic working with multiple emergency cases, running around looking absolutely frantic. The staff gave no explanation as to what took so long, leaving me to wait for over 4 hours with a sick dog and 2 small children with me. I was there from 2:26 pm to well past 7 pm.
