Get directionsWonderful care. The staff was all very friendly, knowledgeable and was great about keeping me updated through the whole visit. Nice little touches like providing a blanket for your animal in the exam rooms. Thank you for taking care of my beloved pup!
On Christmas day my puppy had an accident and was hit in the mouth with a baseball bat. Her poor jaw was broken and her mouth was split open. We called an emergency vet in Pueblo but they recommended we went up to Animal ER Care in Colorado Springs. We called them to let them know we were on our way so when we showed up they were expecting us and got us in to a room right away. They were able to get her some pain killers right away to make her more comfortable while they took a look at her mouth. They also called the Dentist... read more
Took my dog here at 11pm the other night after a deer kicked my dog and tore her open. These people were all very nice and professional! The place was packed. They were very apologetic for making us wait a bit, but kindly explained there were actually worse emergencies than our dog. I've been to ER myself and have had the same situation, but no one was as nice about it as these people. They ran lots of tests to ensure no internal organs were damaged. They stitched her up and she is now happily on the mend. I could not have a... read more

Hope you're enjoying a safe & healthy Holiday Season; thank you for sharing your experience with Animal ER Care!
I want to thank the staff at Animal Emergency Care for being so kind to us during this tough time. Today we had to say good bye to our baby Flapjack and even though our hearts are broken we know your staff made sure Flappy was comfortable till the end.
The staff was AMAZING. Knowing I wouldn't be able to force feed pills to my surly cat, they were able to administer antibiotics and pain relievers that kept him comfortable and eradicated infections he sustained from a bobcat attack. I hope I never need an emergency vet again, but I'm grateful to know I'll get excellent care if I do.
My rabbit began experiencing paralysis on a Sunday morning. I called ahead to make sure this vet treats rabbits and was told that they do, so I immediately went to the clinic. We waited four hours for assistance, and the paralysis continued to worsen. Upon consultation with the veterinarian, subcutaneous fluids were the only treatment provided, along with the suggestion that we visit our regular vet. I consulted with a different emergency vet approximately 14 hours later, who provided spinal x-rays, along with anti-inflammat... read more
We waited 2 hrs to be seen by a vet. We were the ONLY ones in the waiting room at the time. We came in because our 14 yr old dog was vomiting uncontrollably for about 3 hrs. They did a subcutaneous iv fluid thru the back which puts fluid under the skin. Leaves a large lump which we were told would take 12-24 hrs to be absorbed and go away. This would keep him from being dehydrated. The bill was $315 AND by the time we got home every bit of the fluid had run out the hole they inserted it in and down his back which was co... read more
I am so very despondent and incensed. I just picked up my beloved Ike's ashes today day. Or should I say what I thought to be his remains. After comparing all my pets urns and upon review It came to my attention that rather than a private cremation Ike had a partitioned cremation. It is like loosing my Ike twice. I know I asked for private. I know I signed the paper work but I was crying, I did not have my glasses on, my dog was seizing. I am just sick with anger. There are no words or actions that can make this right. One c... read more
The staff is simply amazing. Hope I never have to come back, but if my dogs were ever sick again there is no place I would rather go.
