A few nights ago, I noticed red coloring on the carpet and wondered who might have spilled something. Then I noticed it on Karma's bed, and then on the kitchen floor. So my wife and I call him to us so that we can see if something is wrong. We found a big slice above and into the pad behind his left 'wrist'. THANK YOU!! These guys were amazing. We are new to the area and grateful we found you. I have a 16 year old Chihuahua that went into sudden Congestive Heart Failure. He was not breathing well and when I walked in the door I was greeted by a nurse that took one look and him and whisked him away. This weekend my golden retriever started bleeding, so I took him to my reg. vet. She determined different things but because he was bleeding profusely she said she did not have the equipment to do blood clotting time, so she was needing me to go to the ER for pets. She gave me 2 to choose from and then they would communicate with them. I chose the North Nevada ER because I had a friend that had used them and she spoke very highly of them. I now know why. Today was a rough day for our family as our golden retriever was viscously attacked by a dog in the park. We sought out this clinic because of their Saturday after hours, and were the only clinic open that could see us. We get to the clinic and are faced with a 2 1/2 wait to be told that he required a shave and some antibiotics for his wounds. After 1 hour of additional waiting for surgery to end, they bring out my dog who required a cone, and two prescriptions. Customer service could be better for some of the technicians. W... read more
Although the entire situation with my dog (Angelo) was terrifying and I was a mess, Animal ER Care was so incredibly understanding with my ridiculous emotions and took the absolute best care of him. They were extremely informative about his condition and kept me in the loop about everything current and post visit. One night, all of a sudden my dog took a turn for the worse and got super sick. We took her to Animal ER Care, and I was honestly expecting the bare minimum, but this place blew me away from the second I walked through the door. Someone greeted me instantly and was able to take me and my fur baby back right away, and we saw a vet tech almost instantly, everyone was incredibly nice and knowledgeable!! All I can saw is WOW!!! My little dog received a vaccine that she had not had before and started exhibiting symptoms that concerned me. I found Animal ER Care online and read that I could call to talk through the situation before having to drive and bring her in. On Christmas day my puppy had an accident and was hit in the mouth with a baseball bat. Her poor jaw was broken and her mouth was split open. We called an emergency vet in Pueblo but they recommended we went up to Animal ER Care in Colorado Springs. We called them to let them know we were on our way so when we showed up they were expecting us and got us in to a room right away.
