It seems strange to give five stars to a veterinary clinic when my dog died. Sassy first went in with a painful abdomen, I actually thought the problem was orthopedic. The conservative diagnosis was inflammation, it was treated and Sassy recovered for a couple of days. She had a relapse, they ran additional tests and an ultrasound. Masses on her spleen were probably cancer. They performed a splenectomy, warning me that even though no other masses presented on the ultrasound, they might find them elsewhere. They did not. I showed up here at 4am one day last week after my 20-year-old cat lost the use of her hind legs suddenly. I had to have her euthanized, and they could not have been more compassionate. I also expected to be charged more than I was, considering it was an emergency. I would not hesitate to recommend them, or to use this office if I ever have another pet.

We had to take our 16 year old cat in for an ultrasound. They were very kind to us. Even though we were tired and stressed out, they remained calm and cool. We ended up having to put our baby to sleep and they were so wonderful. The doctor (Dr. O) was amazing. She was a calming soul to have with us as we said goodbye. We would go there again if another emergency arose.

What happened to me happened three years ago. I was so devastated that I didn't want to write about it, but realized I had to so people know what to expect fro this place. One Saturday, my 9 YO pitty stumbled and seemed to be wheezing for a second, but he quickly recovered. My wife and I freaked out and brought him here, during which time he seemed fine. Love this place, they do their best and they are very nice. They will immediately see your pet. Of course a little expensive but if you need an ER you need an ER and it'll be worth it.

THANK YOU! Especially to Janelle, Jacob, and Dr.Becker who were Albus's main caretakers tonight. Albus had ingested a small amount of raisins so we took a trip here late Sunday night. From the initial call inquiring about it, to getting Albus taken care of, follow up and discharge instructions, and handling Albus; everyone was so kind and professional.Albus was seen promptly and I was thoroughly informed about his treatment plan. A few nights ago, I noticed red coloring on the carpet and wondered who might have spilled something. Then I noticed it on Karma's bed, and then on the kitchen floor. So my wife and I call him to us so that we can see if something is wrong. We found a big slice above and into the pad behind his left 'wrist'. He wasn't in any obvious pain or distress, but I was worried about the depth of the cut and the possibility of infection. So we took him to Animal ER Care, since it was after normal hours. THANK YOU!! These guys were amazing. We are new to the area and grateful we found you. I have a 16 year old Chihuahua that went into sudden Congestive Heart Failure. He was not breathing well and when I walked in the door I was greeted by a nurse that took one look and him and whisked him away. They were busy and it was a little while before they were able to tell me what was happening. The Dr. was very nice and explained everything. This weekend my golden retriever started bleeding, so I took him to my reg. vet. She determined different things but because he was bleeding profusely she said she did not have the equipment to do blood clotting time, so she was needing me to go to the ER for pets. She gave me 2 to choose from and then they would communicate with them. I chose the North Nevada ER because I had a friend that had used them and she spoke very highly of them. I now know why.
