Get directionsThis is a "place of business", not a veterinary hospital. We brought our German Shepherd in for emergency treatment because he was throwing up heavy amounts of blood and was becoming excessively weak after our vet closed for the evening. When I arrived and told them he had been throwing up blood for 2 days, they tell me I have to pay $500 before they can see him. We were so impressed with the care our cat received late on a Sunday evening. The cat swallowed a small decorative shiny star which caught in the back of his throat. The Care Center staff immediately helped us as we walked in, had a vet tech quickly check the cat, then provided canned cat food in hopes that the cat would take of it on its' own, which it did! We were so thankful for the kind, fast, care from this clinic and its' staff.
Our older kitty was extremely sick, vomiting and hiding, our vets office was closed so we brought her here, she had to be euthanized, this facility was wonderful, very kind and caring staff, I can't say enough on how I appreciated the staff here. Thank you.
I brought my dog here after a rattlesnake bite and they really cared for her and tried everything to relieve her pain. It was expensive but I expected that from an emergency center open on the weekends. Overall, we had a great experience with them and we really felt that they were sympathetic and cared for our little pup. They also really cared about the cost and only doing what we asked for.
We brought our cat here in the middle of the night from Pueblo. He had swallowed a needle. They were so friendly, helpful and honest about the situation. They knew finances were tight and that it was really important to try to save him. They worked hard stabilizing him until a vet was open to finish the surgery. They gave us blankets and a room to stay in the few hours we had to wait. They were all very caring and helped make a difficult situation the best it could be. Thank you so much for all your care and compassion. Hope... read more
If you're searching for the James Herriot experience Animal Dental Care of Colorado Springs (a.k.a. Tony M. Woodward DVM/a.k.a. Well Pets/a.k.a. Woodward Veterinary Services P. C.) is not for you. This practice is cash-driven. My husband and I expected a markup for specialty dental treatment and equipment, but not an invoice exceeding our monthly mortgage. An average dental cleaning for a dog weighing less than 20lbs at a veterinary practice will run a patient between $175 and $250. A similar cleaning at Animal Dental ... read more
