Over the weekend my friend had to sadly put her ferret to sleep. There are no exotic vets open in Pueblo on Sunday so we drove up to the Springs to Animal ER Care. Poor Riot (the ferret) was screaming the whole trip. It was very hard on my friend and myself, as there was nothing we could do to calm him. The staff at Animal ER Care got us back and into a room right away. They have beautiful rooms set up for saying goodbye to your furry family member. They have nice, comfortable furniture, and tissues in the room. The room was... read more

Last night we had to take our bulldog in to see them and they took such good care of him. We didn't have to wait to be seen and the staff was so helpful and kind. They took great care of my dog and explained our treatment plan and pricing options. They were so attentive. Having to go to a 24hr vet is never an ideal situation but if we ever have to go again this is our 1st choice. Thank you so much!

In September of 2016, Dr. Lawrence and her team saved my dog's life. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for my dog, me, and my family. You can tell that the entire staff truly loves animals. They always kept me informed during my dog's 48 hour ICU stay. I even called once at 4:30am and they were able to answer my questions. The facility was always spotless and they had all equipment needed in order to keep my dog alive during those critical hours. I was referred to EACC by my daytime vet's after-hours answeri... read more

When you need an ER for your pet, you want to be able to trust your facility to take care of them. I had an emergency, and due to the amazing staff and technicians who were able to quickly help, I truly felt comfortable leaving my pet in their hands. Our technician had the perfect, bedside, comforting ability in talking me through the situation and what costs were going to be associated with the surgery. Same with the Doctor and her follow-up. The costs for my situation were considerable but, looking at the line items, they ... read more

My dog is older, but not old enough to leave me! He started acting so strange after eating his dinner one night. I called them and they told me what it could possibly be, but couldn't be sure until we came in (obviously). They even told me the starting prices for potential care plans. When we arrived the facility was clean and they were expecting us. We went right back to an exam room and were helped immediately. The vet took X-rays, which were so detailed and great quality and thoroughly explained everything she showed us. ... read more

I took my cat into the hospital at 2am with a huge laceration. They took care of him AND ME like we were family. They gave me a low and high end quote and it was pretty close to how I imagined 2AM surgery would cost. After my experience here, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They were kind, gentle and they took care of my baby!! I went home fully understanding and comfortable with after care. Pricy, yes, but that's what you should expect from any emergency vet. I would give them more stars if I could.

I was stupid enough to come here TWICE. The first time my dog had an upset stomach, we waited over an hour in the exam room before a doctor came in. They get busy, I understand, so I didn't think much of it. Now I'm on my way home after leaving my other dog there to get 3 stitches in her arm for a small gash. After waiting in the exam room for TWO HOURS AND 15 MINUTES, they told us it would be a few more hours before they could stitch her up and we were welcome to leave her and come back. After paying a deposit at the recept... read more

No holiday would be complete without a trip to the ER. In this case my elderly English bulldog Bubsy Pickle twisted his dew claw and was in terrible pain. I was visiting my dad in Canon City for Thanksgiving and very far away from our beloved Vet in Hollywood. Animal ER services put me immediately at ease. They were extremely kind and compassionate on the phone, unlike all the other places I called. And they were THE ONLY PLACE OPEN 24 hours over the holiday. When we arrived Bubsy was well cared for and in and out with prof... read more

I recently had a scare with my mature Golden Pyrenees, I brought her in and immediately she was treated with the best care. They were lifesavers. Molly can be very nervous and all the vets caring for her accommodated her needs and kept her calm till she was back up on her feet. They made sure that we were fully ready and prepared with her at home care. We were sent home with no worry or question on how her recovery will go. Great job to all the well trained veterinarians working with Dr Jamie Gaynor.
