Our dog Max had, for some time, been experiencing intermittent coughing and acting like he was trying to throw up a hairball. on 15 August, we took him to Waldorf emergency Care, fearing for the worst. We spent 6 hours there with Dr. Fox doing an assessment/exam and then doing an enema to allow better view of internal tissues, xrays, an ultrasound, blood draw and a cerenia injection to prevent vomiting, and prescriptions for antibiotics and cough suppressent. Dr. Fox outlined concerns for fluid in Max's lungs and a shadow... read more

After bringing my sweet little dog back and forth to the hospital, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep. It was a difficult thing to do, but the understanding and support I received was overwhelming. They walked that fine balance between giving my Simon the care he needed and allowing me to come to the conclusion that more money wasn't going to change his outcome. The kindness from everyone, front desk, techs and the vet were awesome. I hope I never need their services again, but the fact that they a... read more

Just returned from such great care (9/9-9/10/24) for our older dog. He had a tremendous infection in his leg and required surgery. Just brought him home. How much? $2,500. Yes, we love our dog. Now, let's get a few things straight. First, we have had great care at Waldorf Emergency Care over the last 7-8 years. This has included multiple visits with our dog and our cats during that time. Dr. Fox has a lifetime of experience caring for all types of animals and is still committed to his clinic and patients. I have ha... read more

This place is/was a GODSEND for me and my fur baby. She was attacked by a pitbull the morning of April 5, 2024. I was treated SO DELICATE, professional, and with care. Li Li was given EXCELLENT care as I didn't have an option to research where she could get the best care for her. Dr. Fox and his vetinary team---MAGNIFICENT! Li Li had a lengthy surgery and a 5 day stay. PRICEY, but I had to pull my funds together. This pet hospital also helped me in terms of options for financial assistance. The process was smooth, easy, ... read more

There was a long wait time but far less than a human emergency room. Doctor thoroughly layed out our options for care. Staff was patient and understanding during what was a very hard moment for our family.

Our sweet baby Onyx had a Bulging tick deep in her ear & we could not for the life of us remove at home. We arrived around 830 pm and let them know she may require sedation due to her size & place of the tick. Morgan assisted us from start to finish and she was so sweet and attentive. The front desk was also very nice. We were in & out in an hour and a half & this was with sedation. Thank you so much we are forever grateful they could get this solved for our baby!

Had a very good experience at 12am there with our cat. Yes, the wait was long (about 1 1/2 hours to be seen), but that's understandable given that it is an emergency vet and a person wouldn't experience anything differently going to the emergency room on a weekend or at night. The staff was very professional and friendly and took care of the issue very quickly once we were seen. Finally I was very surprised by the cost, which didn't seem like much more than what I would have paid at my regular vet. All in all, we were very h... read more

My dog was able to be seen promptly today. She was diagnosed quickly and all costs were discussed before we proceeded. Would definitely recommend this vet.
