I took my dog to TruVet with what I soon found out was a life-threatening emergency. He was triaged and taken in right away. I see some reviews complaining that they had to wait a long time when their pet had a UTI or a cut. They are dealing with serious emergencies people! I had called 3 other ER vets beforehand and TruVet was the only one that could see him right away. Two others were at capacity and the third could not see him for hours due to staffing. Great experience here with our constipated dog They triaged her and didn't think she needed to be seen right away. We went home and gave her pumpkin and a small amount w laxative and she cleared right up No charge by TruVet

I volunteer with a local rescue and hear the name TruVet a lot! A lot of our ill kittens and cats have come from there or visit there when we need care for them. I'm thankful they work with us as a rescue! Funny enough, I left an emotion-driven review before- but have relooked at the situation. Our Labrador fell from quite a height and we needed a full emergency facility. The team at TruVet was amazing . From the first phone call to leaving with my dog sutured and casted I was treated with kindness, patients and informed every step of the way. The women that cared for my dog were amazing - professional, knowledgeable and amazingly efficient. I feel so fortunate that this was the hospital that we went to. Tru Vet was absolutely wonderful to us during a very difficult time. My local vet referred me to them because they have highly trained specialists and staff, and the best advanced technology to diagnose difficult cases. Unfortunately my kitty, Smoky, was in dire shape and I had to make the difficult choice of putting him through invasive treatments that might not have worked or letting him go peacefully in my arms. Great place! Took care of my pet when everyone else refused to take a new patient, citing "Covid restrictions." It became very emotional for me as my 12 year old girl needed surgery for a potentially life threatening issue. I called around EVERYWHERE!! Even her old vet (a couple hours away) NOPE! They wouldn't even give me an appointment for several months out. I called La Plaza after getting a reference from my neighbor and they booked me an appointment right away! I had an elderly cat that needed to be euthanized after suffering a sudden hind end paralysis. I took the cat to the closest vet to me, which was TruVet and I am very glad I did. They made sure my cat was comfortable as possible and the vet ( I wish I could remember his name!) was kind and compassionate. I expected to pay over twice what they charged me, and how often can you say that about any service? I was very grateful to TruVet for making my cats last moments as pain and stress free as possible.
