THE most friendliest staff and best, communicative vet doctors! I called around Sonoma County vet Er's including those close to me and where I've taken my dogs before. None could fit us in. Called TruVet, they told me could be 4-5 hour wait. I decided to go, he was diagnosed, treated and released in less than 3 hours AND for all they they did, I was shocked at the total expense...in a positive way! I am sincerely grateful for their attention, compassion, treatment and expertise! I HIGHLY recommend TruVet!!!

I'm writing this review an hour after we just returned from our visit at TruVet, because this place deserves more than me putting it off and forgetting. Our 1 year old German Shepard puppy decided to swallow a sock in its entirety 6 days ago. After consulting our regular vet and several emergency hospitals we monitored him closely as we were told to while we waited for it to pass. He showed no signs of distress or stomach irritation all week and miraculously threw it up WHOLE earlier today. We were jumping through the roof a... read more

Our first experience with TruVet was in June 2021. Our dog, a Labrador Retriever began experiencing balance and coordination problems, extremely heavy panting, and seemed very disoriented. We went to another emergency vet and waited more than four hours in a parking lot. At the time we didn't know about TruVet, although even if we did, they were only open from 8 to 8 for emergencies. We decided we wouldn't wait any longer and took our dog home. We were hoping that when TruVet opened at 8AM we would be able to be seen. ... read more

We unfortunately had to make an emergency visit on Thanksgiving evening when our dog had a seizure. The staff were so helpful and kind during a scary moment for us as pet owners. They took our dog just before closing and we were out within an hour. They kept us informed with approximate time frame and our pup's condition. They gave us options for treatment/testing, and explained things thoroughly. We didn't feel pressured into any of the testing/treatment and left only with a medication to reduce seizure risk until we could ... read more

There are no to describe the Gratitude I have for this Hospital. My cat had a constipation emergency that progressed to a point He was very sick... I am a nurse & tried all sorts of home remedies & nothing worked!! NOTHING I kept saying "the poop has to come out!" But it didn't. So many lessons learned... In retrospect, I think he was actually dehydrated for years...He likes kibble & the sun... never had any trouble in the past, but I see how much happier he is now! More energy, more fun, more cuddly, fur is lush - the c... read more

Our puppy contracted Parvo(!), which - untreated - is pretty much a death-sentence. Dr. Miller saw him right away, and recommended home-treatment. Our Vet-tech (I wish I could remember her name) patiently demonstrated how to give I.V.'s and shots, and sent us home with everything we needed. Within a day our little buddy came roaring back to health and is now doing awesome. These folks are great-and reasonably priced to boot. If they recommend home treatment, don't hesitate a bit. if we can handle the shots, I.V.'s and ... read more

Wow, I am so grateful to have this new emergency vet in town! My fur baby had a foxtail in her ear so I brought her in first thing in the morning and by 1pm she was back at home and feeling all better. All of the staff was so friendly, compassionate, and professional. They took all necessary precautions to make sure that the procedure was as safe as possible for my baby. I would definitely recommend this vet! Thank you TruVet
